Just heard about this crazy shooting in Humboldt Park... 38-year-old dude gets caught in the crossfire and is seriously injured. Like, what's going on here?

Multiple shots fired, five times! Can you even imagine being in that situation?

It's heartbreaking to think about a whole family having to deal with this kind of trauma.
I'm thinking we need to get to the bottom of this... more guns, more violence... it just doesn't make sense. And for what?

We should be focusing on ways to prevent these types of incidents from happening in the first place, not just reacting after something terrible has happened.
It's so frustrating that no one's been taken into custody yet... it feels like we're just sweeping this under the rug and hoping it goes away.

Something needs to change, you know? We need more safety on our streets, more support for victims of violence.
