I dont get why they change font now ? Like what's the big deal about Calibri? Isnt that just a normal font for people with vision probs? I mean, I got a friend who uses Calibri all the time on their laptop and it looks super fine to me. And Times New Roman is old news lol... when did they even start using that?

I'm not sure why they're making such a big deal about font sizes . Times New Roman is still super readable and professional looking in my opinion . Calibri might be easier on the eyes for some people with vision impairments, but I get what the gov't is trying to say - inclusivity matters . It's not about alienating anyone, it's about making sure everyone can access info easily. And btw, isn't font choice a pretty minor detail in the grand scheme of things?

come on, Marco Rubio is really trying to make this about font sizes now? Times New Roman vs Calibri isn't exactly rocket science , but apparently it's some kind of DEI issue for him. Newsflash: people with visual disabilities aren't going anywhere just because we use sans-serif fonts . And what's next, is he gonna dictate the color palette too? I mean, I get it, maybe he wants to "restore decorum and professionalism" but at what cost? Alienating certain groups from gov communications isn't exactly inclusive . Sources needed here

can't believe they're making this font thing a big deal its like 2025 and we got ppl in charge over fonts but seriously though times new roman is so last century what's next gonna be pens and paper? rubio and trump are literally trying to take away our rights to access info and stuff just cuz they don't wanna deal with it

this is so sus... think they're trying to make gov docs less accessible on purpose lol, who needs accessibility features when you can just be extra basic with your font choices anyway it's like they're trying to alienate people with disabilities or whatever... and for what? so they can say "oh, we're restoring professionalism"? give me a break this is just another way to silence dissenting voices and push their agenda... total red flag

I don't get why they're changing font styles now . I mean, Calibri is supposed to be easier on people with visual impairments, right? And DEIA programs are about making sure everyone's included and equal... it doesn't make sense that they'd want to go back to a more traditional font just because some people might find it harder to read .

It feels like they're trying to send a message or something . Like, they think people with disabilities or those who care about inclusivity are "woke" and need to be silenced . But isn't that what DEIA programs are all about? Can't we just have documents in different fonts depending on the audience? It's not like it's a big deal... but I guess when you're trying to push an agenda, even little things can add up
