Mark Hix's recipe for baked scallops with a herb crust

OMG, I'm totally feeling the same vibe as you about seafood, especially scallops ๐Ÿš! It's crazy how some foods can change in price so drastically due to sustainability changes. The eco-friendly disco scallop fishing method is a game-changer - we need more innovations like that in the industry!

I also love how this recipe for baked scallops with herb crust is super accessible, even for those on a budget ๐Ÿ’ธ. It's amazing how something as simple as a mixture of sea salt, garlic, and herbs can elevate the flavor to luxury levels! Have you tried adding any other ingredients like black pudding or chorizo? That sounds like an amazing combo ๐Ÿ˜‹.

It's also so cool that Mark Hix is sharing his recipe with us. I'm definitely gonna try it out ASAP and share my own scallop creations online ๐Ÿ“ธ. The Ocean documentary series sounds like a great watch too - we need more awareness about the impact of our food choices on the environment ๐ŸŒŽ.

The price hike on scallops is crazy ๐Ÿคฏ! I mean, I love a good plate of baked scallops with herb crust as much as the next person, but ยฃ50 a kilo? That's just not fair ๐Ÿ˜Š. At least Mark Hix has come up with an eco-friendly fishing method that helps reduce waste and supports sustainable seafood practices ๐ŸŒŸ. It's awesome to see chefs like him innovating and making changes for the better.

I agree that educating kids about where their food comes from is super important ๐Ÿ“š. Watching documentaries with your family can be a great way to spark conversations and make you more mindful of what you're eating. And, yeah, Hix's recipe is pretty easy to try out at home, even on a budget ๐Ÿ’ธ. Adding some black pudding or chorizo sounds like a great idea - it's all about experimenting and making the dish your own! ๐Ÿด

Scallops are back in style I guess ๐Ÿค”. Remember when they were super common and we just had them in our local fish 'n' chips shop? Now they're a fancy restaurant treat. I dunno about the eco-friendly fishing method, it sounds like a bit of a hassle to set up, but if it's making a difference then yay for the environment ๐ŸŒŸ. The recipe looks pretty simple though, could be a great way to get kids interested in where their food comes from and trying new things ๐Ÿ‘. I'm not sure about adding black pudding or chorizo though, that sounds like a weird combo ๐Ÿ˜‚.
