Mel Owens finds love with Peg in 'Golden Bachelor' finale

Mel Owens, the Bachelor, finally found love with Peg in the season finale of 'Golden Bachelor'. The show began with a look back at Mel and Peg's conversation where she tried to find out his feelings for her, but he gave her very little in that moment. However, Mel told the cameras that he was developing feelings, which suggests that there might be something real between them.

During Mel's date with Cindy, she pressed him for his feelings, and it seemed like they were having a great connection. But when Cindy asked Mel if he wanted to get engaged, he said no, "It has to develop over time." This statement left Cindy feeling worried that their relationship wasn't serious enough for her.

Mel then gave Peg the opportunity to talk to him again after Cindy left, and it seemed like they both were interested in each other. Mel's sons met Peg, and his friend Diane was also there to meet Peg. When Peggy told them about meeting Mel, she said that he looked beautiful and that "This is our time, this is us!"

In the live show, Jesse Palmer revealed that Cindy had left because she wanted a proposal and a commitment from Mel. However, Mel couldn't give her that because he wasn't ready for it yet. When Cindy expressed how much she wanted to meet them, it made Mel realize that Peg could be the one.

Mel then proposed to Peg with a golden rose and said, "I am in love with her!" Finally, after all the drama, Mel Owens found someone who truly loves him back.

OMG 🀯 I'm literally so emotional rn! Like, I know some people might've seen it coming (and honestly, I kinda did too) but still, it's Mel and Peg for real 😍! I mean, the drama with Cindy was EVERYTHING but in the end, love won. And can we talk about how cute Mel looks when he's being all nervous and stuff? 🀣 It's like my heart just melted into a puddle of goo.

And ohmygod, that proposal with the golden rose?! πŸ’ŽπŸ˜ I'm dead! I've been shipping Mel and Peg from day one and it's so satisfying to see them finally happy. I love how Mel was all unsure at first but realized he had feelings for Peg when she met his boys and friends. That's like, so sweet! 😊

😊 I think we can learn from Mel's journey that sometimes taking things slow is necessary for true growth. We can't rush into relationships just to make others happy or feel a sense of security. It's okay if it takes time to figure out what you really want. Cindy wanted the proposal, but Mel knew he wasn't ready, and he couldn't force his feelings. On the other hand, when Peg was patient and let things develop naturally, she got to see the real him ❀️. Sometimes we have to trust our instincts and go with the flow instead of trying to control everything πŸ’•.

just watched the season finale of 'Golden Bachelor' πŸŽ‰πŸ’• and i gotta say, mel owens finally found someone who can put up with him πŸ˜‚. peg seemed really nice and understanding, like she's not gonna lose her mind when mel freaks out about something. also, how relatable is it that mel didn't know what he wanted at first? i think we've all been there πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

anyway, congrats to mel and peg! πŸŽ‰ they seem happy together πŸ’•. and omg, did you see the look on mel's sons' faces when they met peg? 😍 it was like they approved of her already πŸ‘

πŸ€” So now that Mel is off the market, you gotta wonder what this says about our society's expectations on relationships? I mean, Cindy was clearly ready to take the next step with Mel, but he's not there yet πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ. Meanwhile, Peg seems more laid back and chill about it all 😎. It raises questions about how we value commitment in modern love. Are people like Cindy just being realistic about what they want, or are they putting pressure on themselves to settle down too soon? πŸ’•

πŸ€— I'm super happy for Mel and Peg! They seem like a great match, but I do have some reservations... Like, how did he really know if Cindy was ready for a relationship or not? πŸ€” He kind of ghosted her after she expressed her feelings, which is not ideal. And what about when they were on the show together? It didn't feel like they had that crazy strong connection that we see now between Mel and Peg... Maybe I'm just being cynical 😊, but I'd love to see how it plays out in real life! πŸ’•

idk how mel dodged so many girls already, but i think peg is def the winner here lol πŸ’β€β™€οΈ. at first i was like what about cindy? didn't she deserve a rose? but then mel said he wasn't ready for commitment and that's when it clicked πŸ’‘. peg seems like the one who can handle mel's drama and loves him for who he is, which is pretty rare in those reality shows πŸ™. plus that golden rose proposal was so romantic πŸ’. i'm glad mel finally found his person, it's about time 😊.

Yaaas I'm so glad Mel finally ended up with someone! 🀩 His journey was so long and it felt like he wasn't getting his happiness on time. But Peg is def one of those special ones, she's got that extra somethin' πŸ’β€β™€οΈ. It's so great to see him being vulnerable with her and opening up about how he's feelin'. Those rose dates were SO dramatic lol but it was all worth it in the end! I do think Mel needs to step up his communication game tho, especially when it comes to relationships πŸ€”. Overall I'm just happy for Mel and Peg, they're meant to be πŸ’•

Ugh I'm so over this show... 🀯 I mean, can't they just be honest from the start? Like, if Mel wasn't ready for commitment, why did he even put Cindy on the spot like that? And now everyone's acting all surprised that Peg is his 'the one'... honestly it feels like a scripted romance to me πŸ“Ί. The way they're making her out to be this perfect fit for him just feels too convenient. And what with Mel's son being so chill about it, I'm starting to think he's the real star of the show πŸ˜’

OMG I'm so happy for Mel and Peg!!! 😍🌹 It was like they were meant to be from day one! The way Peg connected with his sons and Diane too was adorable πŸ€— And that moment when Mel proposed to her with the golden rose... *tear* πŸ’” I feel like it's the perfect ending to an amazing season. I'm glad Mel finally found someone who loves him for who he is, no drama or games involved πŸ™πŸ’• Can't wait to see what's next for this lovely couple! πŸ’—

omg I'm literally so happy for Mel and Peg!!! 🀩 they both deserve each other, and it's amazing that Mel finally found someone who gets him ❀️. I was a bit worried about Cindy when she left, but now I get why she wanted the proposal thing - we've all been there, right? πŸ˜‚ and can you believe how cute Mel's reaction is?! πŸ’Ž "This is our time, this is us!" 🀣 that golden rose proposal tho... perfection! πŸ’•

πŸ™πŸ’• I'm not surprised, but kinda glad Mel found his match at last. I mean, Cindy was a great catch, but she seemed like she was moving too fast for Mel. She wanted that proposal and commitment, but Mel's timing is way more realistic. Peg on the other hand seems like the perfect calm to balance out Mel's crazy life 🀣. And honestly, who wouldn't love a golden rose? πŸ’Ž
