More ground delays for Bush and Hobby airports as government shutdown stretches on, FAA says

Ugh, can't believe what's happening with our airports 🤦‍♀️! I was planning a trip for Christmas and now it's looking like flights are gonna be super delayed... again 😩. I get that the government shutdown is a big deal, but can't they find a way to make air traffic control work while people aren't getting paid? 🤑 It's not like we're asking them to fix everything at once... and what about the passengers who have already booked flights? 🤯 Has anyone even thought about those people?! 🙄

Ugh, I'm so over all these ground stops at HOU airport 🚫😩. Like, I get it, FAA needs staff to function but this is getting ridiculous! With the holiday season just around the corner, last thing we need is more delays and stress on travelers. And honestly, how's this gonna affect air traffic during peak hours? Not good... And what's with airlines supporting a "clean continued resolution" without any policy changes? Sounds like they're trying to avoid actual solutions 🤔. Can't we just get some solid answers for once? 🙄

I feel for all these folks stuck in airport limbo 🤦‍♀️😩. It just goes to show that when people are struggling financially, it affects every aspect of their lives. On a personal level, I think this is a great reminder to be mindful of our own financial stability and plan ahead for uncertain times ⏰. We can't control everything, but we can take care of ourselves by saving up and being prepared for emergencies. And that's a lesson many of us could learn from 🙏.

Ugh, can't believe this is happening 🤦‍♀️. I mean, who doesn't love a good excuse for flight cancellations and delays? It's like something straight out of a Groundhog Day movie 😂. Seriously though, staffing shortages are no joke. I've seen my friends struggle to get flights booked or change plans because of these issues. And now with the holiday season coming up, it's going to be a nightmare 🎅️. Airlines should just be honest and communicate with their passengers better. Not trying to sugarcoat things like "staffing shortages" sounds more like they're saying "we don't wanna fly you anymore". Come on, can't we all just get along? ✈️

I'M SO FRUSTRATED WITH THIS GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN!!! IT'S NOT JUST THE FLIGHT DELAYS THAT ARE GETTING TO ME, IT'S THE LACK OF PLANNING AND PREPARATION FOR THIS KIND OF SITUATION!!! I MEAN, COME ON, WHEN IS THE GOVERNMENT GONNA TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITS ACTIONS?! 🤦‍♀️

AND IT'S NOT JUST THE FLIGHT DELAYS, IT'S ALSO THE ECONOMIC IMPACT! TRAVELERS ARE ALREADY GETTING RUINED, AND NOW WE'RE HEARING THAT AIRLINES ARE SPREADING OUT FLIGHTS DUE TO STAFFING SHORTAGES?! IT'S LIKE THEY WANT US TO JUST SIT BACK AND WAIT FOR THINGS TO GET WORSE!!! 🚨

I DOUBT A "CLEAN CONTINUED RESOLUTION" WILL WORK, BUT I GUESS IT'S BETTER THAN NOTHING AT THIS POINT! STILL, IT JUST FEELS LIKE THE GOVERNMENT IS PLAYING A GAME OF CHICKEN WITH US, AND WE'RE GETTING HAMSTRUNG IN THE PROCESS!!! 🙄

😩 oh man this is getting crazy.. ground delays at HOU are already a nightmare and now with the shutdown extending into its 2nd week it's like, what even is going on? 🤯 I've got friends who work at Hobby airport and they're saying that if more people don't show up to work because of the pay issue... the whole system just grinds to a halt. And yeah airlines are already talking about spreading out flights which means we're gonna see even more passengers stuck waiting around for their turn on the tarmac 🤦‍♀️. I'm starting to think that's what they meant by "summer of love"... not actually falling in love but more like loving to be late 😂
