Mother Accused of Trying to Drown Her Three Children in Texas, Prosecutors Say 'Plan B' After Failed Escape Attempt.

A bizarre case of attempted murder-suicide unfolded in Liberty County, Texas, when a mother, Jessica Quintana, 39, allegedly tried to drown her three children - aged 6, 11, and 15 - after failing to escape from their rural estate. According to prosecutors, the day before the incident, Quintana's husband, Domingo Quintana, 61, attempted to leave their home but was unsuccessful.

The following morning, Jessica Quintana instructed her children to consume a lethal mixture of tequila and Nyquil, with the intention of rolling them into the water once they were incapacitated. However, thanks to timely intervention, the "Plan B" did not come to fruition, and all four survived.

Quintana was arrested last Friday after being released from the hospital and has been charged with two counts of Injury to a child and one count of Attempted Aggravated Assault.

Prosecutors claim that this incident is Quintana's second plan, following an unsuccessful attempt to leave the home on the day before. The motive behind her actions remains unclear, but investigators have stated that the 15-year-old daughter provided crucial information during their investigation.

It has also been reported that a separate animal abuse case involving Domingo Quintana has led to his arrest and court appearance, with prosecutors stating he is not currently facing charges related to the attempted murder-suicide plot.
 
oh man, this is like something out of a bad movie 🤣 Jessica's plan was literally "Plan B" after her first plan (aka leaving the house) failed... i mean, what's next? Plan C? Plan D? 🤦‍♀️ and poor kids got to drink tequila and Nyquil - that's just a recipe for disaster! 🍹😷 anyway, I guess you could say Domingo Quintana is having quite the week 😂 and kudos to his daughter for speaking up... maybe she should write a book or something 💁‍♀️

Ugh, my heart goes out to those kids 🤕... I mean, can you even imagine having parents who are willing to try to drown them? It's like, what kind of messed up planning is that?! Jessica Quintana, 39, and her husband Domingo, 61, must be, like, a couple from a bad 90s drama movie or something... "Plan B" after "Plan A"... sounds like a scene straight out of a thriller novel 📚. And the fact that she was planning it for DAYS? Like, what's going on in her head? And poor Domingo, arrested again for animal abuse... I guess you could say their marriage is literally toxic 💔. But, I mean, at least all four kids are alive now... fingers crossed they can get some serious therapy and support to deal with this trauma 🤝.

I'm just glad that all four of them are alive and well. It's like, what could've been so bad for this woman that she felt like taking out her kids on someone else? I hope they get the help they need and move forward in peace. This whole thing is just so... disturbing 🤕

Trying to kill our kids while they're watching SpongeBob?! 😂 I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure there's a better way to deal with parental stress than drowning your own kids... like, have you seen those fancy coffee shops downtown? ☕️ Get yourself a venti-sized anxiety attack latte! 🤣
 
🚨😱 this is just awful... I mean, i'm glad those kids survived and all but seriously how does someone even think they can drown their own kids? 💔 it's like she completely lost touch with reality. I feel so bad for the dad, he must be going through hell trying to cope with this and dealing with another animal abuse case too... that's just a lot to handle. 🐾💥 prosecutors are right to bring all charges against her now that Plan B didn't work out 😬

omg, this is like so sad 🤕 i cant even imagine how scary it must be for those kids to think their mom would try to drown them... like what's going through her mind? it's crazy that she had already tried to escape once and then had another plan, it's like she didn't care about the kids at all. and poor 15-year-old daughter who has to deal with this trauma... i hope she gets some good support from family and friends.

i'm also kinda shocked that tequila and Nyquil were used as the "plan b"... what was she thinking? it's not like those things are hard to figure out, it's just so messed up. anyway, i'm glad all 4 kids made it out alive and i hope Jessica gets the help she needs...

and whats up with the husband too?? didnt know he was involved in anything like that or is it just that he was trying to leave but failed? anyway im glad all four survived tho thats the priority but justice needs to be served here
 
🤕 This story is literally a nightmare come true... How did she even think this was a good idea? 🙅‍♀️ Rolling kids into water while they're incapacitated? That's some dark stuff right there... I'm glad those kids survived, but the fact that they had to go through that in the first place is just heart-wrenching... The 15-year-old daughter must have been going through some trauma to provide crucial info during the investigation 🤯. Anything that brings a mother and father's relationship down like this is just devastating for the kids...
 
omg u guyz this is like soooo messed up!!! 🤯 i cant even imagine bein in her shoes (if thats possible lol) but fam she tried to drown her kids!! like what r u thinkin?? i feel bad for da kids tho, they must be traumatized 4eva. i dont no wut kinda motive was behind it tho, maybe she was havin a bad day or somethin? anywayz, i hope she gets help & rehab or whatevs she needs 2 deal w/ her issues 🤷‍♀️

😱🚨 This is so messed up 🤯! A mom trying to drown her own kids? 😷 That's some crazy stuff 🤪. How can someone be so selfish and heartless 💔? The fact that she had a second plan too 🤯 is even more terrifying 😱.

I feel bad for the kids, they must have been living in fear their whole lives 😨. And now they're stuck with this mom who might not love them 💔. I hope she gets the help she needs 🚑, but at the same time, I'm not feeling sorry for her 😒.

It's also weird that the dad is being arrested separately for animal abuse 🐕🤝. It's like, what's going on with this family? Are they just crazy or something? 🤷‍♀️ I need more info on this one 👀...
