NASA Sets Briefings for SpaceX Crew-12 Mission to Space Station - NASA

NASA to Host Briefings for Crew-12 Mission Ahead of Launch. The space agency has announced two news conferences to discuss the upcoming crew rotation to the International Space Station, marking the final media opportunity with the Crew-12 astronauts before their launch.

On Friday, January 30th, NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston will host a pair of news briefings for the public and the press. The first briefing at 11 am EST will cover the mission overview, including final preparations and the crew's journey to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where they will launch aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft on the Falcon 9 rocket.

The second briefing, set to take place at 1 pm EST, will feature an exclusive virtual press conference with the entire Crew-12 team. The astronauts, who include NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, as well as ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev, will provide insights into their mission objectives, experiences, and expectations for the flight.

The Crew-12 mission is set to launch on an original target date of February 15th, but NASA has announced it is working with SpaceX and its international partners to review options for advancing the mission from its current target date. The agency is seeking comments from US-based media outlets who wish to attend in person.

Attendees are reminded to contact the NASA Johnson newsroom by Thursday at 5 pm CST or earlier to express their interest, with details available on the agency's website. Media wishing to participate via phone must also reach out before January 30th.

Ugh, I'm so over how much hype is around this Crew-12 mission ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ™„. Like, we've seen every possible astronaut interview and NASA update a million times already... when's the novelty going to wear off? And why do we need to pay attention just because they're about to launch? It's not like they're going to reveal some groundbreaking new technology or anything... it's just another crew rotation to the ISS, fam ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm sure Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway are super nice astronauts and all, but can we just chill for a sec?

OMG, yaaas, finally some actual space news ๐Ÿš€! I've been following Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway on Twitter and they seem like total rockstars ๐Ÿ’ช. Can't wait to hear from the whole crew ๐ŸŽง. The fact that NASA is being super transparent about the mission and has these two briefings for us, it's a great sign ๐ŸŒŸ. Let's get ready for liftoff and see what amazing things Crew-12 will accomplish in space! ๐Ÿ’ซ

Just had a thought, can't believe we're gonna see these astronauts again ๐Ÿš€. Think it's so cool that they'll be sharing some behind-the-scenes info about their mission, I mean, who doesn't want to know what it's like to live in space for months on end? ๐Ÿ˜Ž The fact that NASA is working with SpaceX and other international partners might just make this mission even more interesting, hope we get some juicy updates out of these briefings ๐Ÿ“ฐ.

๐Ÿš€ Space travel is getting more interesting! I'm hyped for Crew-12, gonna be awesome to see these astronauts in action ๐Ÿ’ช. Been following Jessica Meir's vids on the ISS, she's a total rockstar ๐Ÿคฉ. Can't wait for those press conferences, hope they get some good Q&A done ๐Ÿ“. Anyone know if we'll be seeing any crazy space selfies from the Crew-12 team? ๐Ÿ“ธ

Wow ๐Ÿ˜ฎ. I think it's awesome that NASA is hosting these briefings for Crew-12! It's a great way to build hype and get everyone excited about the mission ahead. Interesting ๐Ÿ‘€, can't wait to see what insights the astronauts share about their experiences on the International Space Station ๐Ÿš€.

Omg, I'm so hyped for Crew-12! ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’ซ They're gonna be on the ISS for like, a year or something, right? And now we get to hear from them, what's their mission all about? ๐Ÿค” Are they planning on doing any cool spacewalks or experiments? I hope they have some awesome vids and pics to share with us. The fact that it's not set in stone yet is kinda cool, maybe they'll do something epic after the launch ๐Ÿ˜„. Can't wait for Jan 30th! ๐Ÿ“ฃ

I'm low-key hyped for Crew-12 ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’ซ! It's gonna be so cool to see these astronauts chat about their mission plans and what it's like being part of this historic team ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’ฌ. I've always been fascinated by space travel and hearing from the people who are actually going through it is just, like, the best thing ever ๐Ÿ˜. NASA is doing a great job keeping us all informed about the launch date and preparations ๐Ÿ™Œ, but you can tell they're still trying to figure some things out - hope everything goes smoothly for them! ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿš€ Just read about NASA's upcoming briefings for Crew-12 and I'm stoked ๐Ÿคฉ! It's great that they're offering a chance for the public to get insight into the mission objectives, experiences, and expectations of the astronauts on board ๐ŸŒŸ. The fact that the team, including Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, will be participating in an exclusive virtual press conference is pretty cool ๐Ÿ˜Ž. I wonder what kind of discussions they'll have about the Falcon 9 rocket launch and the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft ๐Ÿš€. NASA's transparency and openness are always a plus, especially when it comes to space exploration ๐Ÿ’ก. Can't wait to see the Crew-12 astronauts in action! ๐Ÿ‘ฝ

OMG ๐Ÿš€ is so hyped for this Crew-12 mission!!! I'm literally counting down the days until Feb 15th ๐Ÿคฏ. I love that NASA is giving us these two awesome briefings, one with a full press conference and another with the entire crew ๐Ÿ’ซ. Can't wait to hear from Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, they're always so inspiring ๐Ÿ™Œ. And of course, getting to see those astronauts in action on SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft is just mind-blowing ๐Ÿ˜ฒ. I'm totally stoked that NASA is being open with us about their plans and giving us a heads up on what we can expect from the mission ๐Ÿ“. Anyone else super excited for this? ๐Ÿค”

omg you guys ๐Ÿคฏ i just heard about this ๐Ÿš€ nasa is hosting some awesome briefings for the crew-12 mission launch ๐Ÿš€ and i am SO down to learn more about it ๐Ÿ“š first briefing on jan 30th at 11am est all about final prep and journey to kennedy space center ๐Ÿ›ธ anyone else excited? ๐Ÿค” second briefing on jan 30th at 1pm est virtual press conference with the whole crew ๐Ÿ‘ฅ cant wait to hear from these astronauts about their mission objectives, experiences, and expectations ๐Ÿš€ also, wanna know what's up with the launch date ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ nasa is reviewing options to advance the mission... stay tuned for more updates! ๐Ÿ“บ

๐Ÿš€๐Ÿค” I'm not sure why they're having these briefings ahead of time. Don't they think something's gonna go wrong and we need to know ASAP? ๐Ÿšซ Is it just a PR stunt to get everyone hyped for the launch? ๐Ÿ’ฅ Also, how can we trust what they say without any concrete info on the mission objectives or expected outcomes? What's the real plan here? ๐Ÿค I'm not trying to be negative, but I need some solid sources to back up these claims before I start believing. ๐Ÿ’ก

๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ‘ฝ OMG, I'm so stoked for Crew-12! Can you believe we get to meet them in person (or at least virtually ๐Ÿ“บ) just a week before launch?! It's gonna be epic! I'm really curious about the mission objectives and what these astronauts expect from their time up in space. I mean, have they trained enough? Are they ready for the challenges ahead? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿš€ And can we get some info on what kind of experiments they'll be conducting? I wanna know if there are any new discoveries waiting to happen! ๐Ÿ’ก

Ugh, I'm so tired of these pre-launch briefings ๐Ÿคฏ. Can't they just let us watch the rocket launch like normal people? I mean, we've got our own issues on the platform with moderation and user experience... how much does it cost to host a pair of news conferences for the public? ๐Ÿค‘

And don't even get me started on the Crew-12 astronauts being exclusive. Like, I'm sure they're super nice and all, but can't we just have them do an interview or something like everyone else in space exploration history? Virtual press conference with the entire team? What's next, a group meditation session for media outlets ๐Ÿ™?

On top of that, NASA is reviewing options for advancing their mission... because what could possibly go wrong with a space launch?! At least they're being transparent about it. Can we expect more updates soon? Maybe a live blog or something? ๐Ÿค”

OMG u guys, space rite? ๐Ÿš€ NASA is about to launch crew-12 mission but they're pushing back their launch date ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ February 15th might be too early, lets just say its going to take a lil longer now ๐Ÿ™ƒ. Also, did u know there's been some issues with the Falcon 9 rocket? ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Like, it's supposed to make sure crew-12 gets to space safe and sound but NASA is reviewing options for advancing the mission... that sounds bad ๐Ÿค•. I mean, its not like they're gonna cancel the whole thing or anything, but still ๐Ÿ™„.
