OMG, I'm getting chills reading this ! Those therapy dogs are truly angels . It's amazing how they've been able to provide comfort to the survivors of such a traumatic event. Their presence has made a huge difference in their lives, and it's so heartwarming to see. Eleanor's words about the dogs being like a "greatest form of hope" give me all the feels . We need more people (and animals) like these heroes in our world . Bo, Sgt., you're an inspiration !
I'm gettin' chills thinkin' about those therapy dogs bringin' comfort to the Nashville school shootin' survivors . It's amazin' how they've made such a big difference, even just bein' there for people to pet 'em when they're feelin' down . I mean, think about it, no training, just a bunch of good-natured dogs doin' their thing... but the impact's huge . It's makin' me think about all the times I've relied on my own furry friends to brighten up a tough day . Anyway, it's great to see these therapy dogs gettin' the recognition they deserve , and I hope they keep bringin' joy & comfort to those who need it most .
It's wild to think about how trauma can affect people in different ways... some might bounce back quickly, while others struggle for years after an event like that school shooting. I mean, those therapy dogs are more than just companions - they're kinda like angels sent to help ease the pain. But it makes me wonder, what does it say about our society when we need external validation in times of crisis? Like, how can we create a system where mental health support is accessible and valued?
therapy dogs r literally lifesavers rn i mean, who needs guns & politics when u got furry friends whos all about spreadin positivity & comfort 3 yrs after that nashville school shooting its still hard to imagine what those kids went thru but these therapy dogs are doin it right they dont need medals or nothin just a warm heart & snuggles bo the therapy dog is literally my hero btw i no some ppl might say its weird or silly but honestly who cares? we need more bo's in this world
I'm still shaking my head over the Nashville school shooting 3 yrs ago . These therapy dogs from Comfort Connections r doin an amazing job bringin comfort to the kids who survived it . I mean, Sgt Bo won that Hero Dog Award & he's not even a police dog! But what's even more impressive is how much of a difference these little guys are makin in people's lives. Eleanor Dieckhaus talked about how the dogs help her cope with grief & made me feel all the feels .
It's so true, like, sometimes you just need someone (or something) to be present, right? These therapy dogs r showin us that even in tough times, there's always hope. Mental health matters, folks! We gotta keep supportin these amazing animals & makin sure everyone's doin okay
omg this is so sad but at the same time its amazing to see how much comfort those therapy dogs are bringing to the survivors i mean who needs medication when you have a furry friend to snuggle with? but seriously though its really cool that they got recognition for it, like the Hero Dog Award and its great that people like Eleanor Dieckhaus are sharing their stories about how much of a difference those dogs made in their lives my question is tho, how do you train these dogs to be therapy dogs in the first place?
