Gunmen ambush pedestrians in Little Village, leaving a man dead and two others injured. The shooting occurred around 3 p.m. Saturday when three men were walking back to their vehicle after purchasing car parts at the 3100 block of South Saint Louis Avenue.
According to police reports, two masked gunmen jumped out of a silver Honda and opened fire before fleeing the scene. The shooting claimed the life of 35-year-old Devonsha Conquallin Collier from the Grand Boulevard neighborhood, who was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at 3:54 a.m. on Sunday. Two others, aged 39 and 42, were also injured with gunshot wounds to various parts of their bodies.
