omg did u no that rice university just made a break thru in removin forever chemicals from water?? i mean its crazy how fast they can absorb those bad chemicals up to 100 times faster than other techs! what if we dont have to deal with all the toxic byproducts and waste storage anymore?? that would be soooo awesome!! btw, has anyone else heard of pfas?
I THINK THIS IS SO AMAZING!!! THEY'VE FOUND A WAY TO REMOVE THOSE BAD "FOREVER CHEMICALS" FROM WATER FASTER AND MORE EFFICIENTLY THAN ANYTHING ELSE! I MEAN, CAN YOU IMAGINE DRINKING WATER THAT'S FREE FROM THOSE POISONOUS SUBSTANCES? IT'S LIKE, A DREAM COME TRUE FOR ALL THE PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM HEALTH ISSUES CAUSED BY THESE CHEMICALS . AND THE BEST PART IS, THIS TECHNOLOGY DOESN'T REQUIRE ANY TOXIC WASTE STORAGE OR HIGH TEMPERATURES, WHICH MAKES IT SO MUCH SAFER AND MORE SUSTAINABLE . I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS TECHNOLOGY BE IMPLEMENTED ON A BIG SCALE AND HELP CLEAN UP OUR WATERWAYS
OMG u guys its about time we see some real progress on tackling these 'forever chemicals' I mean think about it we've been hearing about how toxic they are 4 years now & still no concrete solution till now but then Rice Uni comes out with a game changing tech that can absorb Pfas like crazy and all u have to do is use copper & aluminum? sounds simple but its pure genius
I'm not gonna lie the fact that it absorbs them way faster than existing systems is still kinda mind blowing I mean what else are scientists working on 2 tackle this issue? It's like they're saying we got this problem figured out but we gotta keep pushing boundaries & exploring new techs till we get there
