New Korean crime thriller, 'Made in Korea,' unfolds a world of espionage and deadly power struggles

A Gripping Tale of Espionage Unfolds in 'Made in Korea'

In a world where corruption knows no bounds, one man's sharp instincts and ambition can lead to catastrophic consequences. Baek Kitae, a KCIA agent, navigates the treacherous landscape of 1970s Korean politics with ease, juggling two seemingly disparate identities - that of a government operative by day, and an elite smuggler under the cover of night.

As Kitae rises through the ranks, his meteoric ascent catches the attention of a relentless prosecutor determined to bring him down. Their cat-and-mouse game ignites a thrilling showdown, with each adversary refusing to yield. The stakes are high, and the consequences of failure could be deadly.

The series boasts an all-star cast, including Hyun Bin, Jung Woosung, Woo Dohwan, Cho Yeojeong, Seo Eunsoo, Won Jian, Jung Sungil, Kang Gilwoo, Roh Jaewon, Lily Franky, and Park Yongwoo. The tension builds as the intricate web of power struggles unfolds on screen.

When 'Made in Korea' premieres on Hulu and Disney+ on December 24, audiences can expect a gripping tale of espionage and deadly confrontations that will keep them on the edge of their seats. Will Baek Kitae's double life finally catch up with him, or will he outsmart his pursuer? The high-stakes game of survival begins soon.

I'm hyped to see this show 🀩 but like how it jumps so fast between Kaite's day and night lives is kinda confusing lol what was the point of that? also why not more backstory on the prosecutor? seems like they're just a random villain 😐 still, I love Hyun Bin in anything he does πŸ’– and the cast looks super solid. Dec 24 can't come soon enough πŸŽ„

I'm both excited and skeptical about this new series... πŸ€” Made in Korea has a pretty intense plot and the cast looks like they're going to bring the drama to life. Hyun Bin is always great at playing complex characters and I'm curious to see how he'll handle Baek Kitae's dual identity.

But, on the flip side, have you seen some of the espionage thrillers out there? They can get pretty formulaic and predictable. I hope this series manages to subvert some of those expectations and keep us guessing until the end.

Also, I'm not sure how long Hulu and Disney+ are going to be able to maintain their momentum with all these new releases... πŸ“Ί It's getting harder to find time to watch everything, but if anyone can pull off a gripping tale like this, it'll definitely be worth my while.

this korean spy thriller sounds like a wild ride 🀯 but i need more info about baek kitae and the prosecutor, who r they supposed to be again? what's the story behind their cat-and-mouse game? also, hyun bin is in this? πŸ€‘ he's not even 40 yet πŸ˜‚ can't wait to see if it lives up to the hype πŸ€”

omg I'm so down for this new series!!! 🀯 hyun bin is literally the best and i love jung woosung too! 😍 has anyone else seen a trailer yet? what's with the 70s setting tho, feels like an epic period drama πŸ•°οΈπŸ’₯

Korea's spy dramas are gettin' better! πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈ Made in Korea looks intense, love the cast 😎 Can't wait to see Hyun Bin bring Baek Kitae to life πŸ’₯ Dec 24 can't come soon enough πŸ“Ί

omg u guys i'm literally so hyped for this new korean drama 'made in korea'!!! i mean can we talk about the cast tho?! hyun bin is literally my bias and jung woo-sung is giving me all the feels with his brooding character lol. but seriously the plot sounds SO intense and suspenseful, i love how baek kitae's dual life is going to be the main focus of the show. i'm also low-key invested in the cat-and-mouse game between him and the prosecutor πŸ€” it's like the ultimate game of spy vs spy πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’₯ can't wait for it to drop on hulu and disney+ on dec 24! πŸŽ‰πŸ‘€

I'm gonna say it... I don't think this show is gonna be as lit as everyone's making it out to be πŸ˜’. I mean, another spy thriller with a corrupt agent and a prosecutor trying to take him down? Been there, done that, got the t-shirt πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. And let's be real, the cast is solid, but it's not like they're all gonna blow our minds or anything 😴. I need something more original than just another cat-and-mouse game between good and evil πŸ’₯.

omg i'm literally shaking thinking about this new k-drama 'made in korea' 🀯 baek kitae sounds like such a complex character idk if i can handle the suspense but at the same time idk how i could resist watching it lol my bf is already hyped and he's been binging all these k-dramas lately so now it's my turn to catch up πŸ˜‚ anyone else excited for this?

πŸ˜’ I'm not convinced this show is going to be all it's cracked up to be... another overhyped Korean drama about spies and smugglers πŸ€₯. Can't we just have a simple story for once without so many twists and turns? And what's with the " meteoric ascent" thing, sounds like someone trying too hard to make their character sound interesting πŸ™„. I mean, who gets to be an elite smuggler under the cover of night and still manages to climb the ranks of KCIA? Not exactly believable to me πŸ˜’.

I'm so hyped for this new series 🀩! As someone who loves a good spy thriller, I'm all about the cat-and-mouse games and the moral ambiguity of the characters. Baek Kitae sounds like a super complex character with some serious depth - love how he's got multiple identities going on. The cast list is also insane, I mean Hyun Bin is literally one of my faves πŸ™Œ. What I'm most excited about is how the power struggles and corruption are woven into the story - it feels so timely and relevant. Can't wait to dive in and see where this wild ride takes us πŸ˜…. The fact that it's premiering on Hulu and Disney+ also makes me happy, who doesn't love streaming?

omg I am literally SOOO down for this show!!! 🀯 made in korea sounds like the most intense thriller ever and I'm OBSESSED with the cast lol hyun bin is my bias anyway but seriously the premise sounds sooo captivating and juicy - corruption, smuggling, cat-and-mouse games... give me all the espionage drama πŸ’₯ I've been waiting for a Korean show to come out that's not just your typical rom-com or melodrama and this one seems like it's gonna be THE real deal πŸ€‘ can't wait for dec 24!!!

Omg I cant wait to watch this show! 🀯 Made in Korea sounds sooo intense and suspenseful - like something straight outta a spy thriller movie! 😲 And the cast? Wow, all those talented actors together should make for an epic ride! πŸŽ₯ The plot seems super engaging with corruption, power struggles, and espionage... it's got everything! πŸ’₯ I'm defo checking this out on Hulu & Disney+ when it drops on Dec 24 - gotta see what happens to Baek Kitae and his double life 😏

πŸ€” I'm so hyped for "Made in Korea" to drop on Hulu and Disney+! πŸŽ₯ The cast looks insane - I love Hyun Bin and Jung Woosung, they're always so good in dramas πŸ’β€β™€οΈ. But what's with the corrupt politics? It sounds like it could get really messy... 🀯

πŸ€” just finished watching the trailer for 'Made in Korea' and I'm HOOKED πŸŽ₯! The cast looks insane btw Hyun Bin is such a god πŸ‘‘. I love how the plot is full of twists and turns, can't wait to see it all go down on Hulu and Disney+ on Dec 24 πŸ“ΊπŸ’₯
