I'm kinda bummed about the parade being threatened by bad weather ... I mean, who doesn't love watching all those iconic balloons and floats floating through Central Park? The thought of it getting disrupted because of some gusty winds is kinda disappointing ... But at the same time, I get why they gotta be cautious – safety first, you know? It's just one of those things where you gotta weigh the fun factor against the potential risks. And yeah, 35 mph gusts are pretty intense ... I hope everyone stays safe and sound either way . Maybe we'll get a makeup parade for next year or something ?
Omg, I'm already stressing about this... Like what if the parade gets cancelled? That would be such a bummer Macy's has been doing it for like ever and it's such a big deal for all the tourists and locals who come out to watch it with their fams. I've always loved the balloons and the music, it's just so festive! The wind chill is gonna make it feel super chilly too, even if it doesn't snow . Fingers crossed they can still get it done on Thanksgiving day, but if not, maybe they'll move it to Sunday instead? That would be a nice backup plan
omg this is so stressful!! i was really looking forward to watching the parade with my squad but now i'm like super worried that it's gonna get cancelled... can't imagine what would happen if those gusts were 40-45 mph tho ! hope the orgs & NYPD are keeping a close eye on the weather and make a decision soon... fingers crossed it stays sunny and fun
its kinda weird that they're gonna monitor the parade's plans based on wind chill... like, what's next? checking if it's "safe" for people to enjoy a turkey dinner the thing about wind chill is, its not just about the temperature, its about how your body feels. but i guess its always better to be safe than sorry
