But at what cost? We need to make sure our laws reflect our values as a society: respect for all individuals, regardless of their faith or background.

I'm kinda glad these bills are being introduced in NYC, it's about time they prioritize people's safety over free speech. Protests are allowed, but we shouldn't have to live in fear of getting intimidated while just trying to worship or learn. The fact that law enforcement will now be assessing public safety risks transparently is a major win!
