NYPD monitoring DC shooting of National Guard members, says no threat to NYC

I don’t usually comment but... this whole thing just feels so weird 🤔. I mean, two US National Guard members get shot near the White House and suddenly it's all about security for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City? It seems like a huge escalation of security measures to me. And what really got my attention is that Commissioner Tisch had already expressed her opposition to deploying federal troops in major cities just last month, but now she's saying they're keeping the Guard members and their families in their thoughts while monitoring the situation 🤷‍♀️. It almost feels like there's a connection we're not being told about... 🚨

Man, this is like, really weird... 🤔 The fact that these two US National Guard members got shot just a block away from the White House, and there's no apparent connection to New York City? It's like, what's going on here? And then you see Commissioner Tisch talking about her past opposition to deploying federal troops in cities, but now she's being super tight-lipped about this whole thing... 🙅‍♂️ I'm not saying she's hiding something, but it's suspicious that she wouldn't want to share more details.

And can we talk about the timing of all this? The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is just around the corner, and suddenly security becomes a major concern. Is there something more to this than meets the eye? 🤑 I'm not trying to spread any conspiracy theories, but it seems like there's some fishy business going on here that we're not getting the full story on.

I'm not surprised this happened 🤔. I mean, think about it, the US military has been involved in so many high-profile situations over the years, it's like they're just waiting for someone to trigger a situation like this 😬. And now we've got the NYPD Commissioner saying she's keeping the Guard members and their families in her thoughts, but only after the fact? It feels like there's some sort of cover-up going on 🚫.

I also wonder how these troops ended up so close to the White House in the first place 🤷‍♂️. I mean, West Virginia is a long way from DC, what was the point of deploying them there? And now we've got one of our own shooting at the National Guard... it's like this country just can't catch a break 😩.

The fact that Commissioner Tisch has been speaking out against federal troop deployments in cities before really makes me think she might be hiding something 🤐. Not to say I believe she's directly involved, but you've got to wonder what her true motives are when it comes to national security 🤔.

😬 just heard about this crazy thing that happened near the White House... two US National Guard members get shot just a block away from the president's pad 🤯 can't believe it, especially since they were deployed from West Virginia, I mean what's next? More troops showing up at major events like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade? It's already got my anxiety levels on 10 💔 Jessica Tisch saying she's keeping them in her thoughts and prayers is cool and all, but I'm more worried about what this means for our city security 🤝 doesn't help that the commissioner had a beef with deploying federal troops in NYC back in September... did we learn anything from that? 😕

🤔 just thinking about this makes me wonder if our safety measures are doing more harm than good... I mean, we've got these elite troops deployed on the streets, but what's the real threat here? Is it just random violence or is there something deeper at play? It's like we're creating a never-ending cycle of fear and response. We need to take a step back and reevaluate our priorities - are we building stronger communities through security measures or just papering over issues with more troops on the street? 💡 maybe this incident is a wake-up call for us all to ask ourselves what's really going on here 🤝

just heard about this on the news 📰 and i'm still trying to wrap my head around it... two US soldiers shot just a block away from the White House? that's crazy! 🤯 what's going on with all these shootings lately? it feels like they're happening more and more often. i hope those two guys who got shot are gonna be okay, not sure what kind of injuries they had tho... 💔 and now this new development with the suspect in custody... seems a bit weird that there's no known connection to NYC, but at the same time, it's good that law enforcement is keeping an eye on things 🕵️‍♀️.
