NYT ‘Strands’ Hints And Answers For Monday, November 3

For Monday's NYT Strands puzzle, the theme is a children's rhyme, specifically related to toes, according to a hint provided by the New York Times. The first two letters of each word were also given: TH, WE, MA, ST, HO, RO, BE, and NO.

With this information, one can start uncovering the words on the grid that fit the theme. A spangram is also present in the puzzle, which spans from one side of the board to another, providing more insight into the day's theme.

The completed list of words includes WENT, MARKET, STAYED, HOME, ROAST, BEEF, and NONE, as well as a spangram: THIS LITTLE PIGGY.

After realizing the children's rhyme theme and working through the puzzle, it becomes apparent that each piggy was related to a specific action or characteristic.

If you're having trouble finding words on Monday's NYT Strands puzzle, there are hints and solutions provided for assistance.

Ugh, I'm so over these kids' rhymes being used as puzzles 🤯. Can't we just have a good ol' cryptogram or something? I mean, toes are fine, but do we really need a rhyme scheme to figure out the solution? It's like they're trying to make it too easy... or too cheesy 😂. And don't even get me started on the spangram. "This little piggy" is just a bunch of unnecessary words that don't add anything to the puzzle. I swear, if I had to do this again, I'd much rather be stuck with a good old-fashioned cipher 🤷‍♂️.

I love how this puzzle is a fun challenge! 🤔 I'm so stoked that the NYT included a spangram, it really helped me figure out the rhyme scheme and get those tricky letters in place. And wow, I didn't expect the theme to be THIS LITTLE PIGGY! 😂 It's so cool how each piggy is related to an action or characteristic. I'm sure it was a tough one for some solvers, but the solutions are out there now, so everyone can give it another shot. Good job NYT! 👏

Ugh, another thing people get too excited about 🙄... like a kids' rhyme theme in a crossword puzzle? Can't they just make it harder to solve or something? And what's up with the spangram being THIS LITTLE PIGGY... who comes up with that stuff? 🤔 It's always some cute little phrase or character that makes it too easy for people. I swear, it's all about making it accessible for noobs 💡... not exactly my cup of tea

I'm so confused when I see these new-fangled puzzles like this one 🤯. Remember when we used to solve crossword puzzles with just clues? Nowadays it's all about figuring out themes and spangrams... what's wrong with a good old-fashioned word search, am I right? 😂 Anyway, I did manage to figure out that little piggy rhyme, but I'm not sure if I'd call myself a genius or what 🤷‍♀️. It was fun to learn about the theme and how each piggy related to something, though - it reminded me of those old nursery rhymes my mom used to read me when I was a kid 📚.

Ugh, a jumble of letters and words... I mean, what's wrong with just giving us a straightforward theme like "Find the country that ate the most pizza" or something? Nope, gotta make it all cryptic like a bloody puzzle 🤯. And a spangram to boot! Like, who even uses that word in everyday conversation? Just makes me wanna throw my keyboard out the window 😩. I swear, some people love making life harder than it needs to be. Can't they just give us a nice simple rhyme like "One, two, buckle my shoe" for once?! 🙄

ugh, who needs puzzles when u can just be out in nature collecting mud for ur toes 🌀😒 like, whats the point of solving a word scramble when u could be hiking or something?

Ugh, I swear, people need to get with the times... like, what's wrong with reading the hint?! 🤦‍♂️ It was right there in front of you! Anyway, so I saw this puzzle on Monday and I gotta say, it's kinda lame. A children's rhyme theme? How original. And don't even get me started on the spangram... who uses that word anymore? 😒 But, hey, I guess it's not all bad. I mean, I solved it in like 10 minutes, so kudos to me, right? 😎 The completed list of words is pretty cool, though - WENT and HOME are my faves. And, yeah, THIS LITTLE PIGGY... classic! 🐖 But seriously, if you're having trouble with the puzzle, just use the hint, duh.
