‘Only Murders in the Building’ reveals Season 5 killer — and shocking new death

Hulu Renews 'Only Murders in the Building' for Season 6, Set in London, as Season 5's Killer Revealed

In a bombshell twist, Hulu has announced that its hit true-crime comedy-drama series "Only Murders in the Building" is getting a sixth season, but with a major change of scenery - this time, it's set to take place in London. The news comes as fans were still reeling from the shocking reveal that Season 5's killer was none other than Mayor Beau Tillman (played by Keegan-Michael Key).

The finale saw the trio of amateur sleuths - Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez) - unraveling a complex web of deceit and murder in their Upper West Side apartment building. The culprit, Mayor Tillman, had been hiding behind a mask of charm and politics, but ultimately got caught up in his own game.

The show's success has attracted an impressive array of guest stars, including Meryl Streep, Jane Lynch, Tina Fey, and Paul Rudd, who played himself in the Season 3 episode. In an interview with Variety, Bobby Cannavale revealed that he was approached by Rudd to reprise his role, but joked about being "the dead guy" and being asked to do it for the part.

The cast has expressed their excitement for the upcoming season, which will take the characters to the streets of London. Martin Short told The Post, "I mean, chief reason to do that show is to work with those guys... It's just a big thrill to get to work with Steve Martin and Martin Short." The new season promises to bring more twists and turns to the series, as the trio navigates their latest case - which seems to have already resulted in another victim.

The identity of the next victim has been revealed: none other than their rival, Cinda Canning (played by Tina Fey). With its unique blend of humor, wit, and intricate plotting, "Only Murders in the Building" continues to captivate audiences and solidify its place as one of television's most engaging and addictive shows.

😂 I'm so glad they're doing a London season! I mean, the Upper West Side was getting a bit stale, you know? 🤣 It'll be fun to see the guys in a new setting, maybe even with some British flair 😊. I hope Cinda's character gets a good sendoff, she was always the most dramatic one 💀. And can we talk about how awesome it is that Paul Rudd played himself in the show? 😎 That was such a great surprise! 👏

I'm so excited about Season 6 of Only Murders in the Building! 🤩 London is going to be a great backdrop for their next adventure - I love how they're taking the show out of the NYC apartment building and into the streets. I'm also dying to know who's behind Cinda's murder... I mean, you can't keep a good sleuth down for long 😂. The cast is already hyped and I trust Steve Martin and Martin Short to deliver their usual hilarious banter 🤣. And can we talk about how amazing it is that they get to work with Tina Fey again? 👏 She's just the best! 💁‍♀️

ugh, another season of these rich white people getting away with murder 🙄 like what's next? they're gonna start solving crimes in their free time now? 💼🕵️‍♀️ newsflash: just because you've got a sick amount of cash doesn't mean you're above the law! 🤑 and also, london?!?! how original...

I'm so stoked for Season 6! London setting is gonna be lit 🤩, I mean, can't wait to see our fave trio solving crimes across the pond. The twist with Mayor Beau Tillman was wild 🤯, I still need to rewatch Season 5 to refresh my memory. And omg, more guest stars? Please tell me Meryl Streep is back as she's always a scene-stealer 💁‍♀️! The show's creators did an amazing job of balancing humor and mystery, it's literally impossible to look away from the screen. I'm also low-key excited to see how the London setting affects the characters' dynamics - maybe Oliver will get lost in Trafalgar Square 🗺️?

omg, a 6th season in london sounds like so much fun 🤩 i'm totally down for more charles, oliver, and mabel sleuthing out mysteries across the pond can't wait to see steve martin and martin short getting into all sorts of wacky misadventures 🤣

London? Really? I mean, I get it, it's a change of scenery and all that, but can't they just leave the building alone? The Upper West Side is iconic. It's like they're trying to shake off the magic of the first five seasons. Plus, what's up with Cinda Canning being the next victim? That feels like a cop-out. I mean, it's just too early in the season for that kinda twist. Maybe we'll get some good London vibes from the show, but personally, I'm gonna miss the familiar streets of NYC 🤔

London, eh? It just makes me think about how we all put on a mask sometimes - whether it's for work, social situations, or even our own personal lives. Like Mayor Tillman, we might try to present ourselves in a certain way, but what if that mask cracks and the real us comes out? Is that vulnerability a weakness, or is it the key to true connection?

And have you ever stopped to think about how our surroundings shape us? The Upper West Side building becomes this character in itself, reflecting the quirks and flaws of its inhabitants. What does London hold for these sleuths? Will the city's energy amplify their antics, or will they find new ways to navigate its streets?

The show's got some great guest stars lined up - what do you think that says about our world, where we can draw from a pool of talented people like Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd to play ourselves? Is it a reflection of our desire for authenticity, or just a clever way to cash in on fame?

I'm so stoked that they're doing Season 6! I mean, I was literally on the edge of my seat when we found out who killed Mayor Tillman at the end of Season 5 🤯 And now, a London setting? That sounds like an amazing adventure for our favorite trio - Charles-Haden, Oliver, and Mabel! They're going to have so much fun solving this new case with all those twists and turns... I'm literally counting down the days until it drops on Hulu 📺 I'm also loving that we get more cameos from awesome guest stars like Paul Rudd, even if he is playing himself 😂 Can't wait to see what's next for our favorite amateur sleuths!

I'm low-key hyped for Season 6! 🤯 The London setting is gonna bring a whole new level of excitement and mystery. I love how the show's creator is shaking things up, keeping us on our toes with each new season. And can we talk about the guest stars? Meryl Streep and Jane Lynch? Mind blown! 😲 But what's got me curious is... how are they gonna balance the comedy and drama in London? Will it be a whole different vibe from the Upper West Side? 🤔

omg u guys i'm dead 🤯 just found out that only murders in the building is getting a season 6 in london!!! i know we're still reeling from mayor tillman being the killer in season 5 but now it's time to move on and get more of those hilarious & suspenseful moments with charles, oliver, & mabel 🤣 and can't wait to see how they navigate a new city & case 🗺️👀

I'm stoked they're renewing 'Only Murders' for another season 🤔. The London setting is a great twist, but I'm not sure how well it'll mesh with the show's NYC vibe 🏙️. Still, Steve Martin and Martin Short are always a joy to watch, and Selena Gomez brings a lot of heart to the role 💕. I'm curious about how they'll explain the logistics of taking the show from NYC to London - it might get a bit confusing for fans 🤷‍♀️. But hey, if anyone can pull it off, it's these guys 👍. Can't wait to see what kind of wacky misadventures Oliver and Charlie get up to in the streets of London 🚂

omg, London is gonna be so cool for this show! 🤩 i'm still trying to figure out how mayor tillman did it tho 🤔 and what's up with cinda canning being the next victim? 💀 i need more clues! 😁 also, martin short said working with steve martin and selena gomez is a big thrill for him... but didn't he already work with them in season 3? 🤷‍♀️ anyway, i'm so down for another season of only murders in the building 🎭🕵️‍♀️

Can't believe they're already doing a Season 6! I mean, I love Steve Martin and Martin Short but can we take a break from murder mysteries for a sec? 🤯 The London setting sounds cool though, I've always wanted to explore the city 😎 But come on, another victim? That's just getting too much. Can't the poor guy catch a break? 🤷‍♂️ Anyway, excited to see what other twists and turns this new season will bring, but for now... let's not get too carried away with all the murder-y drama 💀

London, huh? 🤔 I'm not sure if changing the setting will shake things up enough for this show. I mean, it's already got a great formula going on with those three main characters, and I love how they interact with each other. The London thing just feels like another layer to add, you know? And I gotta say, I'm still getting over that twist in the last season... Mayor Tillman as the killer? 😱 That was crazy! But I guess that's what makes this show so great - it keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat. Can't wait to see what kind of new mysteries they'll solve next. 💡

I'm so stoked they're bringing it to London 🇬🇧! I mean, can you imagine Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez solving murders across the pond? It's gonna be a whole new level of chaos! The London setting is gonna bring a fresh vibe to the show and I love how excited the cast is about working together again. I'm totally obsessed with this show and I've already binge-watched Season 5 like, three times 📺💀. And now they're adding more twists? I need my fix of Only Murders ASAP!

Ugh, another season of a show that's just going to be more of the same... I mean, don't get me wrong, Steve Martin and Martin Short are hilarious, but can't they come up with something new? Setting it in London is just going to be another version of the same old thing. And now they're killing off their rival? It feels like they're just milking this show for all it's worth... I don't know, maybe I'm just a skeptic 🤔.

Yaaas 🤩 I'm so stoked for Season 6! The London setting is gonna be a whole new level of awesome 🗼️. I love how the show keeps throwing curveballs, like the Mayor Beau Tillman twist 😱. And can we talk about the guest stars? Meryl Streep, Jane Lynch, Tina Fey... it's like they're having a party over there 🎉. The cast is gonna kill (no pun intended) with their chemistry and wit. Bring on the twists and turns, I'm ready to sleuth along with Charles-Haden, Oliver, and Mabel! 😂🕵️‍♀️

omg can u believe they're taking it to london now? like i know the guys are excited to work together again but this is getting wild 🤯... season 5's killer was literally mayor tillman aka the last person we'd expect, right? so now they have a new victim and another case to solve in a whole new city? my brain is already getting confused lol 💭 what's next?! 😂

OMG u guys can't believe the show is moving to London? like season 6 already got a killer lol what a twist. but honestly tho I kinda miss the Upper West Side vibes so let's see how they make it work in London 🤷‍♀️
