Post Office avoids fine over leak of wrongfully convicted operators' names

it's crazy how mistakes like this can happen again 🤯 i mean, it's not like they just forgot to lock the website or something... the ICO is right though, it was entirely preventable 😒 the post office should be more careful with their online publishing and staff training. £1.09m seems pretty harsh for a mistake that could've been avoided 💸 but at the same time, you can't just let this slide without any consequences 🤔 maybe they should've accepted the fine to set an example? still, it's not like anyone was actually harmed by the leak... unfortunately, this is just another reminder of how vulnerable public orgs are when it comes to data protection 😬

oh man 🤯 this is like so messed up... can't believe they just let off with a slap on the wrist 🤷‍♀️, considering how many people's lives were ruined by this whole Horizon scandal 💔. 500 postmasters wrongly convicted and now their info is all over the internet 📊? it's like, how much more egregious can you get?! 😡 and to think they're just gonna sweep this under the rug 👀... so frustrating!

Ugh, this is so frustrating 😡! I mean, what's up with the ICO not slapping them with a massive fine? It's not like they didn't know how to protect sensitive info 🤦‍♀️. And now people are getting all worked up about it because the Post Office decided not to get in trouble for this mess. Like, isn't accountability kinda key here? 🙄 The whole thing just feels like a huge miscarriage of justice 😔. I mean, what's next? Are they gonna let them off scot-free and hope everyone forgets about it? 🙅‍♂️ It's just so...so...ugh! 🤯

I'm literally shaking my head over this whole thing 🤯... I mean, how can they just let it happen?! 😂 I've got a friend who was wrongly accused by the post office too (no relation) and I know how frustrating it is to deal with that kind of situation. The ICO saying it's "entirely preventable" is like, what even is that? 🙄 They gotta take responsibility for their own mess! 😒 And now everyone's making a big deal about the fine not being imposed... like, £1.09m is no joke either 🤑 But seriously though, how many people have their lives ruined by something like this? I'm just waiting for someone to come forward with a story about how they were affected and it'll be like, "Ah, yeah, that's what happens when you slack off on data protection" 😅
