Radiohead Break Out 'Like Spinning Plates' at Final Show in London

Radiohead Delivered a Thrilling Setlist on Final London Show, Bringing Back a Fan-Favorite Track After Seven Years.

The English rock band closed its four-night stint at the O2 Arena in London last night with a scorching performance that left fans beaming. For those lucky enough to attend, it was an evening they would never forget – especially after being treated to a jaw-dropping rendition of "Like Spinning Plates," a fan favorite that hadn't been performed live since 2001.

The song's origins date back to the early days of Radiohead, when lead vocalist Thom Yorke stumbled upon a reversed vocal melody from an unreleased track called "I Will." The band ran with the idea and developed it into a mesmerizing song that has now made its highly anticipated return. According to Yorke himself, he initially thought the melody in reverse was better than the original – a sentiment shared by fans who were ecstatic to hear the track live.

The performance marked a triumphant finale to Radiohead's reunion tour in London, following successful shows in Bologna and Madrid earlier this month. Drummer Philip Selway had previously stated that reuniting with his bandmates "felt really good" after seven years of separation, and last night's show proved he wasn't wrong.

As the European leg of their reunion comes to a close, fans are left eagerly anticipating what's next for Radiohead. With their recent resurgence in live performances, it's clear that this iconic band is ready to shake off the dust and take on the world once again – one captivating performance at a time.

just got word about radiohead's london show 🤯 and I'm still trying to figure out how they managed to bring back "like spinning plates" after 7 years, no explanation or behind-the-scenes info in sight... where was this song all these years? and what's the story with thom yorke saying he liked it better when it was reversed? sources, pls?

omg i'm still reeling from last night's show they brought back "like spinning plates" after 7 yrs it was like the whole arena was lifted off the ground energy wise thom yorke is literally the king of live performances 🤩😍 i mean we've all been waiting for this moment and it did NOT disappoint the fact that phil selway said reuniting felt "really good" is so true it's clear they're meant to be back together

Ugh 🤯, Radiohead's encore was so intense! I'm hyped they brought back "Like Spinning Plates" after all these years 😂. The way Thom Yorke performed it live, like he was actually singing the original track in reverse... genius 💡. But seriously, have you seen their setlist? So many songs were missing 🤔. And why do they always have to cut off a song mid-chorus 🎵? It's like they can't even commit to a full performance 🙄. Still, it was an epic show and I'm all for them taking on the world again 💥. Can we get some more tour dates, though? My wallet is crying 💸.

Just heard they played "Like Spinning Plates" live again 🤯! I remember Thom Yorke saying something about being surprised by how good the reversed melody sounded, but honestly, it's just another example of Radiohead's genius. They're doing alright for themselves after all these years 🤑. Can't wait to see what they do next, maybe a new album? 🎸
