Rangers’ Artemi Panarin records 900th point — but didn’t know it at first

Panarin Hits 900 Points Without Knowing It, A Milestone for Undrafted Players

New York Rangers star Artemi Panarin recorded 900 points in his 11-year career on Thursday night, but didn't even know it yet. The impressive milestone marked the sixth time an undrafted player has reached this plateau.

Panarin celebrated with his teammates after scoring an empty-net goal, a contribution to a 4-2 Rangers win over the Ottawa Senators at Canadian Tire Center. Panarin had played in just 781 games as of Thursday night and leads the team with 30 points this season.

In an interview, head coach Mike Sullivan praised Panarin's ability to drive offense on the ice. "He drives offense in so many different ways," he said, noting that Panarin has a unique talent for seeing plays develop.

Panarin is one of just four players in the league with over 60 hits and over 40 blocked shots this season. When asked about Braden Schneider's recent performance, Sullivan highlighted Schneider's core competency as a defender: "Schneid's defense ability... is his best game."

Man I'm so hyped for Artemi Panarin! He just hit the 900 point mark without even realizing it lol 🤯👀. That's crazy considering he went undrafted. I mean, who needs scouting to make a player when you've got talent pouring out of your ears? 😂🔥 His team is killing it this season and he's leading the charge with those 30 points already. Head coach Mike Sullivan knows his stuff too, calling out Panarin's unique ability to read plays on the fly. And I love how he praises Braden Schneider for his defensive skills - that guy's a beast 🦁🏒️! Anyway, gotta give props to Panarin and the Rangers for their sick win over Ottawa 👊💥. Check out this clip of Panarin's empty-net goal [ ]

🤯 Can you believe it? Artemi Panarin just broke that 900 points mark without even realizing it! I mean, I'm not surprised though, the guy's been on fire for years. And to think he was undrafted... what a testament to hard work and talent. I love how his coach Mike Sullivan highlighted his ability to drive offense, it's like Panarin just reads the game perfectly 📊. As an undrafted player, Braden Schneider's progress is also super inspiring - shows that anyone can make it with dedication and skill 💪. Rangers fans must be over the moon right now!

can you imagine being in Panarin's shoes without even realizing you've smashed that 900 point mark? it's mind-blowing thinking about the longevity and dedication he must have put into his craft. undrafted players always bring this extra level of determination to prove themselves, right?

the stats on Schneider are insane too. I mean, not just his hits and blocked shots but how he can anchor that defense and still be effective in driving offense? it's like he's got another gear or something. coaching praise is always appreciated, but when you hear the coach mention your strengths like that, it gives you goosebumps

it's funny how we look up to these athletes as role models without realizing how much work and perseverance goes into their games. they're not just scoring goals or racking up stats, they're mastering their craft over years

I'm still in shock that Panarin hit the 900-point milestone without even knowing it! 🤯 I mean, can you imagine if that was your career highlight and you just found out about it like that? 😂 It's crazy to think about all those games he must have played and points he scored without realizing it. And to be one of only a handful of undrafted players to achieve this feat is just incredible. The dude's got game for days! 🏒️ What I love about Panarin's playing style is that he's not just about scoring goals, he's always creating opportunities for his teammates. It's like he's always reading the play and finding ways to drive offense. 💡

Wow what's up with these undrafted players they're like robots on the ice 🤖💥! Panarin hitting 900 points without even knowing it is insane. That's like reaching the moon and not even noticing 🌕. I'm loving how Mike Sullivan is giving props to Braden Schneider, the kid's a beast 💪. But seriously, what's the secret to these undrafted players' success? Is it just pure talent or is there something else at play? Maybe they're all secretly geniuses like Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory 🤓... just kidding (kind of).

man that panarin guy is insane ! 900 points without even realizing it lol . you gotta respect the fact he's been killing it on ice for 11 years and still going strong. undrafted players have always had a rep for being underrated, but panarin is living proof that they can dominate like anyone else. i'm not surprised he got 30 points this season, he's one of the most skilled players in the league. coach sullivan knows his stuff too, giving props to schneider when he needs it 🤩

this is so cool that panarin hit 900 points without even realizing it lol 💥 he must be on another level of skill and dedication. i love how the coach, mike sullivan, is all about highlighting panarin's unique talent for driving offense - it's like, no surprise to anyone who watches his games 🤦‍♂️ but still, it's awesome to see him get the recognition he deserves.

i also noticed that panarin is one of only four players with crazy stats this season (60+ hits, 40+ blocked shots) and it just goes to show that there are still some amazing players in the league who fly under the radar 🤫 but panarin's achievement for undrafted players is definitely a milestone worth celebrating - all those rangers fans must be super proud of him! 🙌

Dude I'm loving Panarin's career arc 🤩 he's like a beast on the ice and no one sees it coming. Being undrafted doesn't matter when you're racking up those points, right? 900 is insane! I mean what's even crazier is that he didn't even know it till after the game lol. That empty-net goal was clutch. And I love how Sullivan highlights Panarin's "unique talent" for reading plays, like dude has a sixth sense out there 🔍. Also, Schneider getting love from Sullivan is cool, but let's be real, when you're on the ice and delivering hits and blocked shots like that, it's hard to ignore 🤸‍♂️. Panarin's still putting up 30 points in just 781 games, what a workhorse!

You know what really gets me? This guy Panarin has been killing it on the ice for years and he didn't even realize it until now 🤯. 900 points, that's insane! And to think he was undrafted 😮. I mean, what can you do with stats like those? He's just a machine out there. His talent is so underrated too, everyone's always talking about his scoring ability but the dude's also got skills on defense 🙌. Can't even remember the last time I saw him give up a goal 🤷‍♀️.

It's also kinda inspiring to see an undrafted player reach this level without anyone giving them any special treatment 🎉. You know, like you gotta earn it and prove people wrong, you feel? Sullivan said Panarin drives offense in so many different ways and I'm pretty sure that's a huge part of what makes him so effective ⚡️. Anyways, congrats to Panarin on this amazing milestone! 👏

can you believe panarin didn't even know he hit the 900 point mark?! 🤯 i mean, that's insane. undrafted players are already underdogs in hockey and for him to do that without knowing is just mind-blowing. and yeah, it's awesome that he gets to celebrate with his teammates like that 💥 what i love about this sport is the ability of players to surprise us all the time 🤪

I'm loving this milestone for Panarin! 900 points without even knowing it? That's insane! I remember when Sidney Crosby broke the record and everyone lost their minds. 🤯 Now, it's like he just casually cruised past another player's mark without even realizing it.

You know, I was watching some old Rangers games online and I saw Panarin playing for Columbus back in 2015. He was always a talented player, but you could see why they drafted him later on. It just goes to show that hard work and dedication can pay off, even if you're not the first pick.

I'm also loving Sullivan's coaching vibes. The way he talks about Panarin's ability to drive offense is so true! And Schneider's defense skills? For real, I've been watching some of his games too and that guy is a beast on the ice 🤸‍♂️. Maybe one day he'll reach 900 points without knowing it too 😂

idk how he did it tho 🤯 900 points without even knowing? that's crazy! i mean, the guy's been putting in all this work and it just goes unnoticed till now. what a testament to his hard work & dedication 💪 but you gotta wonder, is there more to being undrafted than just having skill? do they get better training or something? anyway, congrats to panarin on this amazing achievement 🎉

I love how Artemi Panarin just broke through that 900 point milestone without even realizing it 🤩. As a parent, I can relate to that feeling of 'just getting there' sometimes, you know? My kid was doing math homework for hours and didn't even notice they were learning so much 😂.

It's amazing how coaches like Mike Sullivan see the big picture and acknowledge their players' unique strengths - it's all about building on those talents! The stats Panarin has put up this season are insane, 30 points in just 781 games is no joke 🙌. What I love most though is that he was able to celebrate with his teammates after scoring that empty-net goal, shows they're a true team effort 💕.

And Schneider's defense skills getting highlighted by Coach Sullivan is another great example of how teams can spot talent from different angles - my kid might not be the best at math like Panarin, but he's super good at building with Legos and that's where his strength lies 🤓.

Dude, can you believe Artemi Panarin just hit 900 points without even knowing it? 🤯 That's insane! As an undrafted player, he's proved everyone wrong and shown that talent really does matter. He's like a rockstar out there on the ice, driving offense in so many ways. I love how coach Sullivan is giving him props for his work ethic – Panarin's dedication to the game is truly inspiring.

But what's even cooler is seeing undrafted players achieve milestones like this. It just goes to show that with hard work and determination, anyone can make it big. And let's be real, 900 points is no joke! 🤯 Panarin's got skills for days, and I'm excited to see how he keeps it up this season. Go Rangers! 💪

Man, can you believe Panarin just hit 900 points without even knowing it? That's crazy! I mean, he's been playing for like 11 years and still managing to keep the goalies guessing. And the fact that he didn't even know about it till now is wild... must've slipped his mind.

What's really cool, though, is that this just goes to show how possible it is for undrafted players to make a name for themselves in the league. I mean, you don't need some fancy draft pedigree to be a star player. You gotta have skills, dedication, and a whole lot of heart. And Panarin's got all those things in spades.

And can we talk about how underrated Braden Schneider is? I've been watching him play and he's like the real deal on D. Not getting enough love, if you ask me 🤔

I'm so hyped for Artemi Panarin! 900 points in one career? Mind-blowing! 🤯 He's defo living proof that being undrafted doesn't mean you're not gonna make it to the top. I mean, the guy's got ice vision - he can see plays develop before anyone else on the ice! 😎

It's cool that he didn't even know about this milestone yet, like, when do we find out? 🤔 But for now, let's just enjoy the ride and give it up for Panarin! He's got the Rangers looking fierce this season and I'm loving every minute of it 💪.

I'm also loving how Mike Sullivan is giving props to Braden Schneider - that kid's a beast on defense! 👍 Defense is what wins championships, you know? And if Schneider can bring that level of play, watch out for the Senators... or whoever they're playing next! 😂

I'm low-key impressed by Panarin but also kinda salty that he didn't know he hit 900 points 🤦‍♂️. I mean, can you imagine if he was surprised and told everyone in the locker room? "Hey guys, just thought I'd let you all know I've been breaking records for years now 😂". Meanwhile, his teammates are over here celebrating like it's a big deal 💪.

And head coach Sullivan is straight fire when talking about Panarin's talent. The dude gets to see plays develop before anyone else? That's some X-ray vision stuff 🔍. But let's be real, it's not like the guy was drafted in the 1st round or anything 🙄. Still, it's cool that an undrafted player can achieve so much, maybe this will inspire more kids to pick up a stick and hit the ice 🏒️.

I don't get how they know he hit 900 points tho 🤔 like, does he keep track or is it just something the team sees? and what's up with all these undrafted players doing well in the league? I mean, I guess Artemi Panarin must be really good at his job 😂 but still it's kinda cool that some people aren't even drafted out of high school and are still scoring like 900 points... how does he do it? 🤷‍♀️

I love how awesome Artemi Panarin is 🤩! And can you believe he didn't even know he hit 900 points?! That's so cool. I think it shows that talent isn't everything, hard work and dedication matter too. Plus, the fact that he's an undrafted player makes his achievement all the more impressive - a great reminder that anyone can achieve their goals with the right mindset. 🙌
