just heard about this the torre dei conti collapse is so scary - hope the rescue team can get that guy out safely it's like, what went wrong with the renovation? they knew it was an old building but didn't do enough to assess its stability before starting work i mean, we all know about the risks of renovating historic buildings but still... this is really bad timing too - just a few days after new year celebrations the eu's recovery fund should've done more checks on the building's foundations before giving it funding
this is just so sad... i mean rome's medieval tower collapses and now someone's stuck beneath all that debris it's crazy how one wrong move can lead to something like this and i'm not even surprised tbh, the torre dei conti has had issues before renovation works without proper assessment is just asking for trouble and now they're having to deal with a complex rescue operation fingers crossed the guy gets out alive
