just read about this and it's so crazy that they just started spraying people with tear gas like that 🤯, i dont get why they didnt give warnings first... 3 people got hurt by the way. and now the halloween parade is cancelled too? what a waste! anyway, its good to see that the community is coming together to support each other on social media 💖

Ugh, this is so messed up 🤯! Can't believe the feds are just gonna come in here and start gassing people without warning. It's like, what even is the point of having a protest if you're not gonna respect everyone's right to express themselves? 😡 And those three people who got arrested? Innocent bystanders who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's just not fair. 🤦‍♂️

And can we talk about how ridiculous it is that they cancelled the Halloween party due to this incident? Like, what even is the connection between a little gas and a bunch of kids dressing up in costumes? 🎃 It's just so unnecessary.

I'm also really frustrated with the lack of information from the DHS. They're just gonna come out and say "oh, we had to use gas because of the situation" without giving any real details or explanation? That's not transparency, that's just more gas (no pun intended) 🙄.

The thing is, this isn't an isolated incident. There have been so many other places in Chicago where federal agents have used excessive force against civilians. It's like they're just trying to silence people and assert their power without consequence. And it needs to stop. 💥

This is getting out of hand in Chicago 🤯. First they cancel a Halloween party and now the agents are using tear gas on civilians? It's like they're trying to intimidate us. I'm not saying we shouldn't be concerned about public safety, but do we really need to use such extreme measures? 🙅‍♂️

I think this is a classic case of "too much, too little". The agents are being too aggressive and the civilians are feeling threatened. Meanwhile, there's a lack of communication and transparency from the authorities. What's going on with all these deployments in different neighborhoods? It feels like they're just trying to assert control without understanding the issues on the ground.

And let's not forget about our right to peaceful protest. Is it really too much to ask for some basic freedoms? 🤔 I'm worried that this kind of response will only drive people further into the streets, making the situation even more volatile. We need to find a middle ground here and start having a real conversation about what's going on in our city. 💬

🚨 The whole thing just feels super out of control... I mean, you've got these agents showing up with this gas that's literally gonna make people cry and then they're not even giving them a heads up? 🤯 That's just crazy. And now the Halloween parade is cancelled because of it? It's like, what's next? They're basically setting up some kind of curfew without warning anyone.

And I get why the community is upset - these are people who were just trying to exercise their right to protest and express themselves. It's not like they were trying to hurt anyone or break any laws. They were just standing there, peacefully, when suddenly they're hit with this gas that makes it hard for them to breathe and see.

It's also interesting that this is the last time agents have used gas lacrimógeno in Avondale, but we've seen this happen in other neighborhoods too. It feels like a pattern of behavior here - agents showing up unannounced, using force without warning, and then just... disappearing?

The thing is, I think there's some kind of systemic issue going on here that needs to be addressed. I don't know all the details, but it seems like these agents are being deployed in ways that make a lot of people feel uncomfortable or scared. And that's not okay.

omg this is so not cool 🤯 like how can they just go around spraying pepper spray on innocent ppl? its like, what even is the point of that? 🤷‍♀️ and to make matters worse, 3 ppl got arrested for just being in the wrong place at the wrong time 😱 it feels like police are more worried about controling the crowd than keeping everyone safe. we need more community policing, not this authoritarian stuff 🚫 the fact that they cancelled a whole Halloween party because of it is just sad 💔
