Deerfield continued its winning ways with a 66-31 victory over Quincy, while Downers Grove South annihilated Streamwood 86-32. Dyett came out on top against Geneseo 64-51.

In the West Suburbs, Glenbard North defeated West Chicago 54-19, and Glenbrook North beat Mundelein 64-41. Golder took down Phoenix 68-10 in a lopsided win.

Grant edged Richmond-Burton 66-48, while Hinsdale Central lost to Wheaton Academy 31-31. Hoffman Estates defeated Hampshire 53-46.

In the South Suburbs, Joliet Central beat Elk Grove 45-43, and Lake Park forced Carmel into a 2OT thriller 43-41. Lake View edged out Niles West 74-62.

Loyola cruised to an 79-46 victory over Taft, while Maine East defeated Wheeling 69-35. Maine West took down Buffalo Grove 64-60 in a close contest.

Morton came from behind to defeat Fenton 48-40 in overtime, and Neuqua Valley beat Lake Forest 65-39. Newton fell short against Timothy Christian 39-39.

Palatine dominated Libertyville 64-49, while Plainfield Central beat Dixon 71-55. Plainfield East defeated Larkin 79-33.

Richards took down Sandburg 75-68, and Rockford Auburn edged Lindblom 77-71. Rockford Lutheran came out on top against Northridge 60-41.

In the Northwest Suburbs, Rolling Meadows lost to Maine South 42-43, but St. Anne defeated Cornerstone Christian 61-57 in a close game. St. Francis beat Bulls Prep 74-46.

St. Viator was awarded an upset victory over Northside, while Walther Christian took down Chesterton 58-38.

Waukegan edged out Evanston 62-58, and Woodstock beat Rockford Boylan 64-53.

Amundsen is set to face Niles North at 7:00 PM. East Aurora will battle Plainfield North at 4:30 PM. Yeshiva takes on Rochelle Zell at 9:00 AM.

At the Chicago Elite Classic, Curie edged Warren 65-60, while Homewood-Flossmoor beat Bolingbrook 55-50. Kankakee took down Atlanta Pace (GA) 69-49.

King fell short against Julian 40-43. La Lumiere defeated DePaul Prep 66-44. St. Ignatius beat Young 61-60, while St. Louis Chaminade edged Simeon 57-55.

Sidwell Friends took down Marist 46-34 in the Philadelphia classic.
 
man i cant even think about anything else rn except basketball 🏀👍 i was at a game last week and it was literally insane how close the scores were some of those wins felt like they belonged to the other team 😂 anyway idk about all these upsets happening but its def making hoops more exciting can we get some new teams in the state tournament tho?

Ugh, all these high school basketball scores are giving me a headache 🤯. Can't they just simplify their website? I've got to scroll through like 10 pages of unnecessary details to get to the point – which team won and by how many points? 🙄

And don't even get me started on the font sizes! It's like, I can barely see some of the scores because they're so tiny 😒. And what's up with all these "non-conference" games? Can't we just have a simple schedule that says when and where each game is being played? 🤷‍♂️

I swear, sometimes I think the website designers are trying to make it as hard as possible for us to find the information we want. 😒

I'm so done with the emphasis on sports right now 🤦‍♀️. Like, don't get me wrong, it's awesome that our high school teams are killing it, but can we talk about something else for a second? 😂 Did you know that Illinois is one of the states with some of the lowest minimum wage in the country? 🤑 It's crazy to think that students are out there hustling on and off the court while struggling to make ends meet. We need to start prioritizing our education system and making sure these kids have the resources they need to succeed, not just on the court but in life too 💪. Can we make some noise about this? 🗣️

omg i cant wait for the friday night lights in my school district lol theyre gonna have some crazy games this week i think our team is gonna pull off a big upset against our rivals but idk weve been practicing and weve got this 💪 meanwhile at home i just spent like an hour watching highlight reels of those illinois high school hoops teams 😂

🤔 so many teams are on fire right now, but some parents have to deal with a lot of stress and anxiety watching their kids play high school sports 🙈 my kid's team just got slammed by a better team and I'm over here worrying about how much screen time they're getting after practice 😩 and don't even get me started on the concussion protocol 🤕 any way, more power to the teams that are killing it, but can we please talk about the referees?!? some calls were so bad, it was like watching a different game 📺

Or better yet, some sort of interactive leaderboard where we can actually compare teams throughout the season? 📊 I mean, I know it's not rocket science, but seriously, how hard is it to implement something like that?

And don't even get me started on the formatting. It looks like someone just pasted all these scores into a single paragraph without any effort to make it readable. Can't we have some decent typography or font styles? 😩

But I guess what really gets my goat is how often they fail to include the actual game summaries or analysis. Like, what was going on during that 2OT thriller between Lake Park and Carmel? Was it a close game all the way through, or did one team just come from behind and steal the win? 🤔

Anyway, I guess that's just my rant for the day 😒. Can we please get some updates on the forum with something more user-friendly than this? 🙄
 
man i was just thinking about my favorite food and how awesome it is to have a good pizza night at home 🍕👌 u know what's wild though? i went on this crazy road trip last summer with friends and we ended up stopping at this random diner in the middle of nowhere that served the most epic deep dish pie ever 😂 i swear it was life changing bro what do u think about high school sports anyway?
