Several dead and injured, police say, after bus crashes into bus stop in Stockholm – as it happened

The latest news on the conflict between Russia and Ukraine includes reports of ongoing attacks on Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, which was hit by sustained bombardment. The European Parliament's president, Roberta Metsola, has condemned Russia's aggression and vowed to prevent indifference from creeping in.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has also spoken out against Russia's actions, saying that President Vladimir Putin aims to make winter unbearable for Ukraine and destroy morale. Pistorius announced that Berlin will provide at least €150m towards the next NATO's Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List to help fund US weapons for Ukraine.

Other European countries, including Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden, have also announced plans to fund a separate €430m package for Ukraine. Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto said Italy would send 12th package of support for Kyiv and help Ukraine's energy supplies during the winter months.

Russia has denied involvement in the attacks on Ukrainian cities, but CEO of state nuclear corporation Rosatom, Alexei Likhachev, confirmed that several units of the Novovoronezh nuclear power plant were disconnected from the grid overnight but operations were restored in the morning.

I'm shocked they're still going back and forth like this 🤯... honestly, can't Russia just leave Ukraine alone already? I mean, we all know Putin's been trying to make a point, but it's getting old ⏰. Those attacks on Kyiv are devastating, and for what? So he can say he "won" or whatever? Please 🙄. Meanwhile, our European friends are stepping up with the support they need – it's about time! €430m and €150m? That's some serious backing 💸. I'm glad nations like Germany and Italy are taking a stand against Russia's aggression. They should be too ⚡️... and can we please get some more news updates on this conflict ASAP? It feels like nobody's getting the truth 📰.

🤔 just wonderin why all these countries jump into Ukraine's arms after Putin's been talkin' loud on the world stage for ages... doesn't feel like it's outta thin air 🤑 think Berlin's got some strings attached too, maybe? also curious about how NATO's gonna ensure their promised help reaches Kyiv safely with Russia's involvement 🚫

omg this is getting crazy 🤯 i mean have you seen all these countries lining up to help ukraine like it's a big shopping spree 🛍️ germany and france are basically saying "we'll just send some cash and call it a day" but really what's the catch? are they trying to distract us from something else? or is this just a power play by nato? 🤔 i'm not saying ukraine isn't being targeted, but come on, all these countries jumping in like a chorus of "we care" can't be a coincidence... there has to be more to it 🤫

🤔 I'm not buying all this talk about Russia's aggression. First off, why are all these European countries so quick to promise aid to Ukraine? What's really going on here? Are they just trying to curry favor with the US and NATO? And what's up with Germany and Italy suddenly deciding to support Ukraine after years of being neutral?

And let's not forget Russia's response. Disconnected some units at a nuclear power plant, no big deal... I mean, if it was really that big of an attack, wouldn't we be seeing more concrete evidence by now? 🤷‍♂️ It just seems like a lot of noise to me.

I'd love to see some actual sources on this stuff, not just PR statements from politicians. What's the real story here?

lol what's next? Russia gonna build a wall around Ukraine and charge 'em €50 a month to live there 🤣. Anyway, can't believe Europe is finally coming together to help out our Eastern European friends. €430m is like, a lot of money, but I guess when you're about to lose your entire country to a nuclear winter, every little bit counts 💸.

So Russia's denying involvement in the attacks, huh? Yeah right, like they'd just casually disconnect a nuclear power plant without anyone noticing 🤦‍♂️. Good thing those units are back online now, or we'd be looking at a nice big radiation-free zone... NOT 😷.

It's all about the optics now, folks. Europe's showing solidarity with Ukraine and Russia is like "Hey, I'm not doing anything wrong!" 🙄. Meanwhile, people in Kyiv are still trying to stay alive under bombardment. Can we please just focus on getting them some much-needed aid already? 🤞

🤔 just read this news and i'm like woah, why can't they just negotiate?! 🤷‍♂️ all these attacks on kyiv are so senseless 🌪️ and now it's getting all complicated with the funding packages 📊 €430m from europe is a lot of cash 💸 but at what cost? 😬 is anyone thinking about the people living in these cities? 🤝 Putin just wants to make winter unbearable for ukraine, that's so cruel ❄️
