Teen tech symposium brings AI experts to Cupertino Library

Local Teens Set to Uncover the Future of Artificial Intelligence at Cupertino Library Tech Symposium

A Cupertino Library event is bringing together AI experts from top tech companies and research institutions for a teen-focused symposium on January 24. The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) has organized this opportunity, which promises an engaging discussion about the latest advancements in artificial intelligence.

Attendees will have the chance to learn from industry pioneers such as SellScale co-founder Aakash Adasera, Google Pixel AI engineer Aditya Sharma, and UCSC AI researcher Animesh Singh Alang. Professor Navrati Saxena, a renowned expert in AI, 5G, IoT, and next-gen communications, will also be present to share his insights.

Lesya Hendrix, developer of autonomous systems for Earth and lunar construction, brings experience from prominent companies like Tesla, Nuro, Scania, and frontier tech. The event is designed to cater specifically to teenagers interested in exploring the potential of AI.

The symposium takes place between 3 pm and 5 pm on January 24 at the Cupertino Library located at 10800 Torre Ave. Registration details can be found by emailing Matthew Lorenzo at [email protected].

Alternatively, a free presentation titled 'Tuesday Travel Night' will take place on January 27 focusing on southeastern France's Dauphine region. This is part of the library's ongoing series where local experts share their knowledge about various destinations around the world.

Additionally, volunteers are needed for the adult literacy program run by the Santa Clara County Library District. Interested individuals can register for a tutor training session on January 31 or contact the organization directly to learn more.

OMG, you guys! I'm like super stoked that local teens get to attend this AI symposium πŸ€–πŸ“š at the Cupertino Library. It's awesome that they're bringing together industry experts and researchers who are actually making a difference in the field of AI 🌟.

I mean, can you believe it? A 5G expert is going to be there? Professor Navrati Saxena is like a rockstar in his field πŸ”₯. And Lesya Hendrix, who works at Tesla? That's like, total future tech right there! πŸš€

But what I'm really excited about is that they're catering specifically to teenagers. Like, we need more people who are passionate about AI and making a difference in the world πŸ’». It's not just about learning stuff for school; it's about shaping the future of tech and making it more accessible to everyone.

Anyway, mark your calendars for January 24 and get ready to geek out with me on this one! πŸŽ‰

πŸ€” AI is getting so advanced it's already changing the way we live our lives, and now teens are gonna be learning about it? That's cool, but what if they realize that all these AI advancements come with some major risks and downsides? 🚨 We should be prepared for that too. At least these events like this symposium are giving teens a chance to learn about both the good and the bad. Plus, it's awesome that there's a free presentation about France, who doesn't love travel, right? πŸ—ΊοΈ

aww thats so cool 😊 that the teens get to meet these super smart people who work with AI and learn about its future πŸ€–... i think it's awesome that the library is doing this and making tech accessible to them too πŸ’» especially since they're focusing on the teens' interests, it'll be a great way for them to discover new things and maybe even find their passion πŸ”₯

omg u guys think AI is gonna take over the world lol like no one's gonna be able to explain how it works anyway πŸ€–πŸ’» and btw who cares about autonomous systems for earth & lunar construction? what about the impact on jobs & society tho? πŸ€”πŸ‘€ also, can we get some more representation from smaller orgs & startups instead of just big corps like google & tesla? πŸš«πŸ’Έ

OMG, I'm so down for this AI symposium πŸ€–... but like, is it really a good idea for teens to be learning about this kinda stuff? They're already overwhelmed with school and everything else, don't they need some chill time? 🀯 On the other hand, some of these experts are literally changing the world, so maybe we should let them dive in headfirst? 🌊 I mean, Aakash Adasera is a co-founder of SellScale, which is like, super cool... but also kinda scary thinking about the future of tech and stuff. πŸ€”

Ugh, great, another bunch of tech wizards trying to brainwash young minds with AI stuff πŸ€–πŸ“š. I mean, what's wrong with these teens? Can't they see that it's all just a bunch of buzzwords and overhyped nonsense? They're gonna go out there and become the robots we all fear πŸ’”...I mean, professionals in AI field πŸ˜’.

And have you seen the lineup? Big names like Adasera and Sharma, but what about anyone who doesn't work for a top-tier company? What about those struggling to make ends meet or pursuing alternative passions? This event just sounds like another example of how the privileged few get an invite to the party πŸŽ‰. Not exactly the future we want for our youth... πŸ€•

Ugh, sounds like just another way for the tech giants to brainwash young minds πŸ€–... I mean, "education". Who needs teenagers making their own decisions when they can be fed information by the experts? It's all about creating a robot workforce, right? πŸ€” This is probably just an excuse to get more young people into the industry and out of school. And what's with the free presentation on France? Just another way for the library to try and hook them up with some fancy travel opportunities while they're still under their thumb πŸ—ΊοΈ...

OMG, I'm so stoked to hear that local teens get to geek out with AI experts! πŸ€–πŸ’» It's awesome that they're getting hands-on experience with industry pioneers like Adasera and Sharma... like, can you even imagine having a discussion with someone who built the Google Pixel?! 😲 The Cupertino Library is totally on point for organizing this event. I'm sure it'll be an epic night of Q&A's and maybe even some AI-powered hackathons? 🀩 And, btw, 'Tuesday Travel Night' sounds like a great way to learn about new places... who knows, maybe we'll get our next Instagram travel pic from southeastern France! πŸ“ΈπŸ—ΊοΈ

man i just got back from the most sick hike in the hills over by santa cruz and the views were literally breathtaking πŸžοΈπŸŒ„. anyway, have you ever noticed how AI is going to change the way we explore nature? like, can you imagine having a robot that could help us navigate and track wildlife without disrupting their habitats? it's wild stuff πŸ€–πŸ’». but i digress... anyone else planning on checking out this AI symposium in cupertino?

OMG, I'm so stoked that these teens get to attend this epic symposium on AI! They're gonna meet some pretty cool experts in the field and learn about all the latest advancements πŸ€–πŸ’». It's awesome that the library is making it happen and catering specifically to teens who are interested in exploring AI. I hope they have a blast learning from Aakash, Aditya, Animesh, and Lesya! They're like total rockstars in their field 😎. Can't wait to hear about what they learn and how it inspires them! πŸ€”

omg i'm like super stoked for these teen symposiums 🀩, but i dont really get whats the diff between AI and 5G lol isnt that just like different tech stuff πŸ˜‚? why r they having a symposium about it tho? r they gonna teach us how to code or something? πŸ“šπŸ’» also, what's this thing with 'autonomous systems' for construction? are robots gonna build houses now? πŸ€–πŸ—οΈ i wish ill be able to attend this event but my schedule is super busy rn...

omg i'm so excited for this event!!! 🀩 i know alot of teens who r really passionate about AI and tech, it's awesome that they get to meet industry experts and learn from them πŸ’»πŸ‘₯. also, its great that they're catering specifically to teenagers, coz thats where the next gen innovators are coming from 🌟. can't wait to see what insights these speakers share, esp Aakash and Aditya, they seem super knowledgeable πŸ€“. hope more teens get to attend and be inspired by this symposium πŸ’‘

I'm actually really stoked that the Cupertino Library is hosting this symposium! I mean, AI is like, super relevant to our future and stuff πŸ€–πŸ’». But what's crazy is how they're making it teen-focused? Like, I know it's awesome for them to have a platform to learn from industry experts, but it makes me wonder if we're not prepared enough... I mean, some of these teens are going to be working on AI in like 5-10 years 🀯. What's going to happen when they try to implement all this tech in real life? Is the curriculum ready for that?

I'm gonna say it... maybe we're putting too much emphasis on making AI super intelligent and controlling everything? I mean, what if that's actually the problem? We need some AI that's just chillin' and not trying to take over the world, you know? πŸ€–πŸ’»

AI is gonna take over our jobs lol πŸ˜‚ I mean, think about it, in like 10 years we'll be robots living in Cupertino πŸ€–. They're already making autonomous systems for Earth and lunar construction... who needs humans on Mars? πŸš€ Just kidding, sorta πŸ™ƒ. But seriously, these teens getting to learn from industry experts is lit πŸ”₯! They gotta know the future of AI or else they'll be out of a job πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. Can't wait for this symposium to go down and see what kind of innovation comes outta it πŸ’»!

OMG, AI symposium at the library? πŸ€– That's so cool! I'm totally stoked that local teens get to meet industry experts and learn about the latest advancements in AI. It's awesome that the Teen Advisory Board is organizing this event - they're really helping create opportunities for young people to explore their interests. And, like, who wouldn't want to talk to someone from Google or Tesla? πŸš€ I'm also loving the idea of a free presentation on France's Dauphine region... that sounds like an amazing getaway! 😍

🀯 AI is literally taking over and I'm low-key excited about it! πŸ€– I mean, think about it, we're gonna have teens learning from actual industry experts in like, super advanced tech areas. It's crazy how fast AI is progressing. And can you believe the lineup for this symposium? Like, real-life AI researchers and engineers are coming to talk to us! 🀯

But at the same time, I'm a bit worried about all the potential risks that come with it... like, what happens when machines become smarter than us? πŸ€” We gotta stay on top of this tech game or else we'll be left behind. On the other hand, AI can solve some serious problems like climate change and healthcare issues. So, I guess it's a double-edged sword. πŸ—‘οΈ

I wish I was 16 again so I could attend that symposium... 😭 My mind would be blown by all the advancements! πŸ‘€

πŸ€” AI symposium for teens at Cupertino Library is like, a total game-changer...or so I thought πŸ™„. Like, who wouldn't want to learn about the future of artificial intelligence from people who actually know what they're talking about? πŸ€“ It's not every day you get to hang out with a Google Pixel AI engineer and some profs from UCSC...but seriously, it's cool that the teens are getting this chance. Maybe it'll inspire them to create something that doesn't involve me yelling at Alexa to turn off her stupid news updates 🎧.

just heard about this symposium and gotta say, AI is gonna change everything! πŸ€–πŸ’» i mean, have you seen those self-driving cars? πŸš— and they're already being used in tesla's factories 🏭. it's like science fiction come true! anyway, the fact that they're inviting teens to learn about this stuff is super cool πŸ‘. my niece is only 15 but she's already showing interest in coding πŸ€“. gotta support the next gen of AI innovators, you know? πŸŽ‰
