Man, I'm getting so hyped for this Cupertino Library event!
AI symposium? That's like, straight out of a sci-fi movie, you know? And that it's geared towards teens is amazing, because we need people thinking about these tech advancements now, not just when they're old and grey.
But at the same time, I'm a little worried about all this rapid progress. We're already dealing with AI-powered everything, but what does it mean for our future? Are we gonna lose jobs to robots or something?
And then there's the ethics thing – who gets to decide how these AI systems are used? Shouldn't we be having a global conversation about that?
And I love that they're bringing in experts from top companies and research institutions, but... shouldn't some of them be giving back more to their communities? Like, what if some of this tech is created in labs with little thought for the people affected by it?
