The 12 Most Noteworthy London Restaurant Openings of 2025

London's Culinary Scene Heats Up: Stevie Parle's Town Takes Center Stage

As the city's food scene continues to evolve, some restaurants stand out from the crowd. This year, 26-29 Drury Ln in Covent Garden saw a highly anticipated opening that did not disappoint - Stevie Parle's Town is making waves. The stylish eatery boasts an elegant atmosphere and multiple seating options, catering to various tastes.

Town's success hinges on its commitment to seasonal and local ingredients, showcasing the best of British produce. A herd from Oxfordshire forms the backbone of their menu, with dishes ranging from snacks to hearty mains. Standout favorites include fried sage leaves and crudo, which are staples that never go out of fashion.

The steaks, as one might expect, are incredibly popular, but it's the dayboat fish, expertly prepared on a daily basis, that truly sets Town apart. For those looking for a creative twist on their cocktails, the menu crafted by the owner of Satan's Whiskers is a must-try. Each carefully crafted martini variation offers a unique experience.

For diners willing to navigate the crowds, the reward is well worth it. With its focus on local ingredients and attention to detail, Town solidifies Stevie Parle's reputation as one of London's top chefs.

I mean have you been? 26-29 Drury Ln is like a whole different vibe from anything else in Covent Garden! I love that they're using all those British breeds from Oxfordshire - it's so refreshing to see chefs supporting local farmers. The fried sage leaves are everything, btw 🤩. And don't even get me started on the dayboat fish, I'm hooked (pun intended) ! Stevie Parle really knows what he's doing. But seriously, have you tried their brunch menu? I heard it's a whole new level of Town greatness 💼

I mean, who needs personal space when you can just squeeze 20 people into a tiny room with a pretentious name like "Town"? But seriously, I'm low-key obsessed with Stevie Parle's latest spot. That fried sage leaf thing is TO DIE FOR 🤤 and the dayboat fish? Mind. Blown. The cocktails are fancy enough for me to feel cultured 😏, but not so over-the-top that it feels like a try-hard. All in all, if you're looking for a decent meal without breaking the bank (or your social life), Town is the place to be 👍

omg u guys i just went to stevie parle's town in london and OMG the food is insane!! 🤯 i mean i'm not even kidding when i said that their fried sage leaves are TO DIE FOR like i've never tasted anything so good in my life! 😍 but what really impressed me was how fresh everything was they use only the best local ingredients and it shows in every single dish. 👌 and have you tried their cocktails?!?! stevie parle's partner from satan's whiskers is a GENIUS 🎩 i mean i'm not even a big cocktail drinker but his creations are so unique and delicious that i had to try like 5 different ones in one sitting lol. the only thing i'd say is that the restaurant can get really busy and crowded which kinda kills the vibe 😴 but if u can manage to grab a table it's TOTALLY worth it.
