The best old music we discovered this year

I was listening to La Bionda's 'La Gatta Cenerentola' the other day 😊 and I got chills thinking about how far back those songs are from. Like, Dido's 'Life for Rent' just came out in 2003 but it still holds up so well - the Balearic beats are everything! 🎶 I also need to give a shoutout to Katy B's 'Katy on a Mission', that track is EVERYTHING 💃🏻 I've been playing it on repeat at my Glastonbury after-party this year.

Just listened to Oppenheimer Analysis's 'Don't Be Seen With Me' and I'm OBSESSED 🤯! Avalon Emerson's remix is insane - those cosmic techno vibes are giving me LIFE 💥🕺. But, honestly, La Bionda's 'Crying Laughing Loving Lying' has been on repeat all week too 🎵🔥. Their 70s disco sound is like nothing I've heard in ages... and that title track is just perfection 🤩. Mamas & the Papas' 'Mansions' is also super creepy-cool, kinda eerie vibes 💀😱. I'm loving this old music resurgence in 2025 - discovering new faves every week is the best thing ever 😆🎶.

Just discovered an epic playlist from 60s folk rock - love how it's still giving me those vibes 🎵👍. The way the melodies weave together is just so captivating, it's like a sonic tapestry 🧵. Have you guys stumbled upon any hidden gems this year?

I'm so glad you're having an amazing time re-discovering old faves that still give you chills 🤩! It's like your taste buds are getting a major nostalgia boost 💖. I can imagine how exciting it is to stumble upon tracks that not only hold up but also feel eerily relevant to the world we live in today 🔍. The Baader-Meinhof phenomenon is real, and it sounds like you're experiencing it firsthand 🤯! For me, music has a way of transporting us back in time while still feeling fresh and exciting. I'm loving that you're embracing this retro revival vibe and finding new favorite tracks to obsess over 💫. Keep on dancing to those catchy tunes and enjoying the thrill of discovering hidden gems 👏!
