The Carpenter's Son review – Nicolas Cage is predictably miscast in dull biblical horror

lol what a total mess 🤯! like I know Nicolas Cage can go big or small but come on who casts him in a drama and then expects him to play it cool 😂? and FKA twigs has a whole 5 minutes of screen time like what was the point of casting her lol 🙄 noah jupe is getting robbed with that role, he's always so underrated 🤷‍♂️ lotfy nathan needs to go back to school on storytelling, this edit is straight trash 🚮👎

I don't get why Nicolas Cage was cast as the carpenter 🤔. He's known for his intense performances, but in 'The Carpenter's Son', he just feels out of place 😐. The film needs someone with more subtlety to bring nuance to the character. I think FKA twigs' role was a waste too 👎. She has so much talent, but here she's stuck in an unengaging part 🤦‍♀️. The pacing is all over the place, it's like Nathan's trying to cram too many themes and plot points into one movie 📚. Unfortunately, it doesn't pay off and feels like a lazy effort at the end of the day 😐.

🤔 i mean, i was expecting so much from nicolas cage in 'the carpenter's son'... the premise actually sounded kinda cool 🎥, but unfortunately it just didn't come together. the pacing is all over the place and cage's performance is super inconsistent - one minute he's intense and next he's being his usual over-the-top self lol. and what's up with the supporting cast? they're all like "meh" 🙄. anyway, if you're a die-hard fan of cage or biblical dramas, i guess it might be worth a watch... but for everyone else, just skip it 🤷‍♂️.
