The Flyers were giving themselves a chance. Now they need to save themselves.

Ugh I'm getting so frustrated with the Flyers' recent performance ... like, what's going on over there?! They were cruising along just two weeks ago and now they're in a world of trouble . The power play is an absolute disaster and that penalty kill is getting exposed left and right . And don't even get me started on goaltending - Sam Ersson getting pulled after one period? Aleksei Kolosov isn't doing much better, I guess Dan Vladar's return can't come soon enough .

But you know what the worst part is? The team's gotta fix this themselves . Danny Brière's all about being patient and not making those panic trades, but I'm like... how long can we keep waiting?! Four points outside the playoff bubble and a minus-5 goal differential? That's some pretty dire stuff .

I mean, I love the Flyers as much as anyone, but this is getting painful to watch . Can they turn it around before it's too late?!

aww man those flyers are having a tough time i feel bad for their fans who must be so frustrated watching them struggle like this... 5 straight losses is crazy and that penalty kill is a mess but you know what? the team's general manager is being super chill about it all he's saying is patience and letting the players work on themselves, which i think is fair it's like when we're going through a tough time in life and our friends are like "hey just take a deep breath and focus on yourself" maybe the flyers can do the same?

Ugh, I'm so frustrated for the Flyers fans! Back in my day, we didn't have all these new-fangled injuries and whatnot, but it seems like every other game is a "so-and-so" is gonna be out with this or that... Anyway, I think they need to get their act together - stop giving up those stupid penalties and focus on playing some solid D. And what's up with the goalie situation? I mean, I know Vladar's out, but can't Ersson and Kolosov just step it up already? We've seen teams tank in the playoffs before... don't wanna see that happen to Philly!

man i feel for the flyers they're in a tough spot right now but u know what's even tougher? trying to fix it themselves dan brière's all about giving his players time to turn things around and make some moves on their own, and i gotta respect that approach it's easy to want to just bring in some fresh faces or a superstar player to shake things up, but sometimes the best thing you can do is trust the guys u got that being said, 4 points outside the playoff bubble isn't exactly a good feeling hopefully they can get their game together and start winning again, 'cause a rebuild doesn't sound like the most fun

lol 6-3 loss? what's going on with this power play?! 0-for-4 against pittsburgh... that's insane. and goalie situation is straight mess... aleksei kolosov looks like a rookie . i'm not buying the "wait for dan vladar to come back" excuse. should've been addressed before he went down. danny brière says patience? yeah right, time for some in-house shake ups if you ask me . flyers need some legit depth or they're done for.

We need some serious changes in goal, I don't trust Sam Ersson or Aleksei Kolosov right now. And what's up with this "patience" thing? Can't we just make some moves to help our team get back on track? Two weeks ago they were playing solid hockey, and now it's like they're a different team. This is the worst stretch of the season at the wrong time, and I'm worried they'll fall way out of the playoff picture if they don't turn it around soon!
