I'm really not sure what's going on with the US military lately... like, a boat gets hit by their own forces and innocent people lose their lives? It's just so... wrong. I get that there are bad guys out there who need to be stopped, but do they really have to kill all the civilians too? And now they're just giving up on finding survivors at sea? That's, like, totally inhumane. The fact that experts are saying it's a death sentence and breaching humanitarian law is pretty damning. I'm not saying we should let bad guys get away with murder or anything, but come on! Can't they find a better way to deal with this?

this is insane, can't believe what's going on , US forces just abandons people in the ocean to die? it's like something out of a bad movie, no way they just give up on survivors because "probabilty of survival" is low lol, that's not a reason, that's just giving up . what about all those lives lost already since september? at least 117 civilians, who cares about the probability of survival when it comes to human life? also where are these survivors supposed to go, just left to drift in the ocean with no food or water? that's just horrific and btw, where's the investigation into this incident? anyone can say it's a breach of humanitarian law but who's holding US forces accountable?

In this case, those people in the water were already in dire straits, just wanna survive... and instead of tryna save 'em, the US military is basically sayin "good luck" . That's not heroism, that's just plain ol' human failin. Where's the compassion? The empathy? It's like we're so caught up in our own problems that we forget about others.
