US sanctions Iran ‘shadow fleet’ it says fuels violent protest crackdown

Ugh, another example of how hard it is to have a decent conversation on this platform... can't we just talk about something else for once? 🤯 Anyway, where was I? Ah yeah, so the US slapping sanctions on those Iranian ships... good for them, right? But let's be real, we all know how effective these sanctions are going to be. It's not like Iran is going to be totally crippled by this... they'll just find other ways to work around it. And what's with the US trying to arm these regional "terrorist proxies"? Isn't that just gonna fuel more conflict in the region? 🤔 I mean, I get that the US wants to pressure Iran over their human rights record, but can't they just focus on getting those human rights records straight instead of trying to dictate what Iran does with its own resources? 🤷‍♂️
