another new year and still thinking we need fancy drinks to warm us up in winter i mean whats wrong with a good ol cup of hot coffee or tea? why do bars have to be so over-the-top with their "Signature" cocktails? and what's with all the bourbon ? just give me a beer or a whiskey and im good

I'm like totally excited about this article ! I was thinking of trying out some new bars in Michigan and now I have some awesome recommendations . I love how they're highlighting all these different drinks that sound so deliciously seasonal ️. That bourbon-based sidecar cocktail at Knapp's Garage sounds amazing, right? And the idea of a chocolate-infused bourbon s'more old fashion from Knight's Steakhouse & Bar is literally genius . But what I want to fact-check is if all these bars are actually in Michigan or if some of them are just pretending to be . Are there any that aren't? Let me check...

ooh i think michigan is like the bourbon capital of usa lol they got so many sick bars and taverns out there! i'm obsessed with s'mores old fashioned cocktails right now i've been to bourbons and it's def a great spot for a sophisticated evening out. but honestly, can we talk about how amazing woodford reserve double oaked bourbon is? i mean, who needs just one bourbon when you can have TWO? double oaked paper plane at bais sounds like an epic cocktail and that firebird tavern's winter fashioned cocktail is calling my name ️

I gotta say, if you're lookin' to get all warm and fuzzy in Metro Detroit, you've got a bunch of solid options . But let's be real, BAUS in Rochester is probably one of the coolest spots for sippin' on that "Double Oaked Paper Plane" cocktail - it's not just some generic bourbon-based drink, they're talkin' specific bitters and stuff . And I'm a bit surprised they didn't mention the amazing selection of burgers at Benstein Grille .

And omg, Black Label Tavern in Livonia is like, so outdoorsy-cool . Their "Bonfire Martini" cocktail is fire , and I love that they're not afraid to experiment with different flavors.

Now, I know some people might say Bourbons is a bit too fancy for the average Joe , but honestly, their drinks are worth tryin' - especially that "Woodn't it Be Bice" cocktail . And don't even get me started on The Brewery in Clinton Township and Brewligans in Trenton - those s'mores cocktails are NEXT LEVEL .

Lastly, I gotta give a shoutout to Corktown Taphouse in Detroit for their Espresso Martini - it's like, the perfect drink for when you need a caffeine boost. And Godfrey Hotel's "Second Bridge Sour" cocktail? Tangy and delicious .
