We Bury the Dead review – Daisy Ridley tackles the undead in solid zombie twist

I'm loving how this movie tries to tackle the emotional side of grief and loss πŸ€—. Daisy Ridley is absolutely phenomenal as Ava, she brings so much depth and vulnerability to her character that you can't help but feel for her. The film's unique approach to the zombie genre is definitely a breath of fresh air, it's not just about mindless gore and carnage.

I do think Hilditch could've nailed down the tone a bit better, there are some scenes that feel like they belong in a completely different movie πŸ€”. But overall, I think he does an amazing job with the visuals, capturing the beauty of Tasmania and making it feel like a character in itself.

The plot twist at the end is pretty mind-blowing 😱, I didn't see it coming at all! It's not a game-changer for the zombie genre or anything, but as a solid try, I think it's definitely worth checking out πŸ‘.

I just watched this movie and I gotta say, the twist in the middle is EVERYTHING πŸ€―πŸ’€! The way Ava deals with her grief and the zombie apocalypse is soooo relatable, you'll be on the edge of your seat πŸ˜²πŸ‘». Daisy Ridley's performance is πŸ”₯, she really brings depth to the character. I love how the director focuses more on the emotional toll than all-out gore πŸ™πŸ’€. The cinematography is stunning too, Tasmania looks breathtakingly beautiful on screen πŸŒ³πŸ“Έ. My only gripes are the tone shifts can be kinda jarring at times ⚠️😬, but overall it's a solid try from Zak Hilditch and Daisy Ridley πŸ‘ #WeBuryTheDead #ZombieThriller #DaisyRidley #GriefStory

seen this movie and gotta say its got some good vibes πŸŒŠπŸ‘» its like a mix of zombieland and the road to perdition but with more heart πŸ’” daisy ridley is on point her character avas got some serious depth to her πŸ‘©β€πŸ’” the director zak hilditch does a great job capturing the beauty of tasmania 🌸🏞️ but sometimes the pacing can be kinda wonky like, one sec its all chill then BAM! 🀯 anyway worth watching for ridley alone 😎 [www.rottentomatoes.com/m/we-bury-the-dead/sv/](http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/we-bury-the-dead/sv/)

πŸ€” i think daisy ridley's performance as ava is really what makes this movie work she brings so much depth to the character and it's easy to feel for her 😒 the film itself is nothing special but Ridley's acting shines through and makes you wanna keep watching πŸ‘€ hilditch's visuals are cool too, he does a great job of capturing the beauty of tasmania 🌳🏞️ but sometimes the tone feels all over the place, like it's trying to be more than it is πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ still, it's worth a watch just for Ridley 😊

πŸš€ just saw this movie and OMG the zombies are so slow πŸ’πŸ‘» i mean i get it they're dead but come on! 1 minute 45 seconds is like a speed bump for them lol meanwhile Ava's emotional journey is on point 🀯 she's got depth and vulnerability pouring out of every pore πŸ‘€ and the cinematography in tasmania is πŸ”₯ breathtaking can't believe it was shot on a budget of $500k πŸ€‘ the only thing that threw me off was the tone shifts but maybe thats just part of the "zombie experience" πŸ€” anyway 7/10 would recommend for fans of emotional thrillers πŸ‘
