What does Ruben Amorim know compared with Sir Jim, Jason Wilcox and the gilded overclass? | Jonathan Liew

omg I just read about Jason Wilcox and his win against Ruben Amorim 🤯 he really outsmarted that guy I was wondering how on earth Manchester United finished so low under Amorim's management anyway 3-4-3 is such a outdated tactic, who needs it? and omg what's going on with the coaching scene in football now... owners are making all these decisions behind the scenes without even consulting their fans 🤑 they're just like delivery drivers, delivering the owner's vision but not really caring about the actual game

😒 I mean think about it, Jason Wilcox doesn't just beat Ruben Amorim on the pitch, he also knows how to manipulate the system behind the scenes. He's playing the game of who's got more influence and control. And it looks like Sir Jim Ratcliffe is pulling the strings from Manchester United... 👀 This isn't about football anymore, it's about who's got the cash and the power to shape the game into what they want. The fans are just along for the ride 🤑

I'm telling ya, it's like they're playing a different game up there. All these fancy coaches and owners think they know what's best, but really they're just puppets on strings. Jason Wilcox proved that you don't need to be some flash-in-the-pan manager to outsmart the big boys - he just did his job and won. But it's all about who's pulling the strings, you feel? Sir Jim Ratcliffe has got the power and he knows how to use it. It's like they're saying "do this, do that" and then wonder why the team can't get out of 1st gear.

I mean think about it... we're living in a world where the real decision makers in football aren't even coaches, they're owners who have no background in the game 🤔. Like Sir Jim Ratcliffe, he's got his money and his sailing skills, but can he really tell us what's best for Manchester United? I don't think so! 😂

It's like, we need to start holding these owners accountable for their decisions, you know? They're the ones who are shaping the direction of the club, not the coaches. And if they're just relying on data and whatever fancy system they've got, that's not football, that's just business 📊.

I'm all for innovation and progress in the game, but when it comes at the expense of the fans' voices, I think we need to take a step back. What's next? Are we gonna have owners making decisions based on social media likes and dislikes? 🤯

I know some people might say that's the way of the future, but I'm not buying it. Football is supposed to be about passion, creativity, and strategy... not just about who's got the most money 💸.

the whole thing is pretty wild how coaches get benched because of personal connections and not actual skill 🤯. like jason wilcox gets roasted for his loyalty to omar berrada but now we're supposed to be impressed that he outsmarted amorim? the difference between being a visionary coach and just following orders is huge, imo.
