What will women's football in England look like in 10 years' time?

I think its wild to see how much change has happened in womens football already 🤯... and yet, theres still this massive gap between what we want and what were actually getting. its like, people say we're making progress but is it really? are we just papering over the cracks or are we actually addressing the root issues?

i mean, 6.5 million girls and women playing the sport in england is a huge number, but thats not even close to 50% of the population... what does that say about our society? do we think that if enough women play football, suddenly they'll be equal to men? its not that simple.

i think were gonna keep talking about womens empowerment until everyone has the same opportunities... but meanwhile, lets get real for a second. we need concrete action now, not just empty promises 🙏

I'm getting really excited for the Women's World Cup in England! 🌟 It's amazing to see how much more girls and women are playing football now compared to a few years ago. But at the same time, I think it's still kinda sad that there's such a big gap between boys and girls in terms of access to training and sports facilities.

I mean, 90% of schools offering equal access to PE lessons for girls is like, yay! 🎉 But we need to keep pushing until all kids, regardless of gender, have the same opportunities. We can't let progress slow down just because there's still work to be done. Can we get some decisive action soon? That would be awesome! 💪

I'm all for them increasing investment and changing ownership to raise standards in the Women's Super League 🤑 But it's a bit disappointing they're not pushing hard enough on getting more girls playing, especially at secondary school level... 90% of schools offering equal access is still pretty meh if you ask me 😐. We need to see some concrete targets and timelines for closing that gap. Can't just wait for the World Cup to come around again 🕰️

man I'm loving this growth of women's football in england 🤩👏 6.5 million girls and women playing the sport is crazy! but you're right, we gotta keep pushing for equal access to education & resources 📚💪 especially since schools are already doing a great job offering equal access in PE lessons 👍 it's not about making predictions on what the future holds, it's about taking decisive action now to make sure we don't go back 😬

it's about time the FA stepped up their game...literally 🏆 they've been talking about equal access for ages and yet we still have schools struggling to get girls on the pitch at key stages 4 and 5 🤦‍♀️ meanwhile, 6.5 million girls are already out there playing and loving it, so let's not forget that progress has been made too...it just needs a bit more oomph 💪
