What’s it like to compete in the longest US off-road rally with no GPS?

LOL @ all the tech-savvy ladies crushing it on the course 🚗💻! I'm like, totally stoked that they're embracing the future with GPS and satellite comms – it's about time we ditched those ancient maps and compasses 😂. But, gotta give props to Nicole Dreon for bringing some nostalgia to the table... who says old-school navigation tools can't be effective? 🤔

And, omg, have you seen the specs on those Subaru Forester Hybrids?! Adaptive suspension and electronic rear lockers? That's like, next level off-roading tech 💥. But, let's not forget about my trusty Crosstrek Wilderness – I mean, it may not be as fancy, but it got me through the course just fine 🚗💪.

What I'm really curious about is what happens when you combine old-school skills with modern tech. Like, do you use your GPS to get an estimate of how far away a landmark is, then rely on your map and compass for the actual navigation? It's like, the ultimate off-road paradox 🤯!

When I think about off-roading, I'm like "just keep going" 🚗💪
