15 More 'Frankenstein' Movies to Watch After the Guillermo del Toro Version

ugh i'm still reeling from that last scene in del toro's frankenstein 🤯 it got me thinking about how this story has captivated us for so long and why it keeps being adapted in new ways... maybe it's because we're all just a little bit lonely inside like the monster 😔

👻💡 i think what's cool about frankenstein is how it's been retold and reimagined over the years 📺. like, it's this classic tale that's still going strong today 🤯. from the original 1931 film to more modern stuff like del toro's adaptation 🎥, it's clear that the story has something timeless about it 💔. i love how it's inspired so many other movies and creators too 📚. and it's amazing how different people have brought their own unique takes on the monster 🤖. for me, frankenstein is all about the complexity of the character 👀 - is he a creature or a being? does he deserve sympathy or pity? 💔 i think that's what makes the story so fascinating 🤔.

omg I'm loving this list 🤩 so many classics to check out! **Frankenstein (1931)** is a must-watch for any horror fan, and I'm intrigued by **Curse of Frankenstein (1957)** - Christopher Lee as the creature? 🔪👻 also, who can resist a good ol' fashioned Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein? 😂👍

I gotta ask, what's with all these 'essential viewing recommendations' tho? 🤔 Can they really vouch for each and every one of these films? I mean, some of them are super old, like from the 30s & 40s... didn't they just copy from each other? And where's the context on how they influenced del Toro's adaptation specifically?

I'm telling you, some of these recommendations are absolute classics 🤩, but others are total trash... wait, no I mean they're total genius masterpieces! 😂 The 1931 Frankenstein film is a must-see for sure, but have you seen the Bride of Frankenstein? It's like, the ultimate sequel that surpasses the original... or does it? 🤔 And what's up with Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein being on this list? I mean, I love 'em as a duo, but in Frankenstein? Not so much 😅. On the other hand, Young Frankenstein is pure comedy gold, but at the same time, it's also got some really clever commentary on science and ethics... hmm, what's my point again? 🤷‍♂️
