this is really scary for those living in chicago, especially immigrants who already feeling vulnerable & fearful all the time... having agents just chillin' in their neighborhood is super intimidating... i can imagine how hard it must be for the community to feel safe again 
I'm so worried about what's happening in our country right now . I was watching this news on TV and it's just... wow 
. I mean, can you imagine being stopped by immigration agents on the street and not even knowing why they're detaining you? It's terrifying

. What if someone got hurt? 
I'm so glad the police were there to help, but it's still scary to think about how easily things could have escalated.. The thing is, these incidents are happening everywhere and we need to talk about them more 
. We need better ways to document what's going on so that we can prevent this kind of thing from happening again in the future.
. I just wish we could all calm down and have a real conversation about what's going on instead of jumping to conclusions

. it's crazy that there are no body cams or clear identifiers on the agents... doesn't that just create more room for abuse? 
. The way federal agents was deployed w/ pepper balls & detained ppl is literally horrifying . I mean, u prepare 4 a situation but u dont no wat 2 do wen it goes down. And its not just the agents, its also the lack of body cams & identifiers... it's like dey're tryin 2 cover sumthin up. Alderman Rodriguez-Sanchez is so right tho, somethin needs 2 b done about dis. I feel 4 her & all de ppl affected by dis. We need better communication & transparency from da authorities. 
they're just brutalizin' people left & right like nothin matters. i mean, i get that immigration is a serious thing but can't they do it without bein so aggressive? pepper balls & detainments are not the answer . and what's up w/ the lack of body cameras?? if there was a video of this goin down would it b more evidence 4 these agents or just proof that they're coverin' their tracks?? i'm all for safety but not at the expense of human rights 
I'm so worried about what happened in Albany Park ... Two people were detained with pepper balls being used? That's just too much stress for everyone involved 
. And the fact that a woman was shoved by federal agents trying to reach someone who needed help is absolutely heartbreaking 
. It's like they're more interested in arresting people than keeping communities safe . The use of body cameras and identifiers would be such an important step towards preventing these kinds of situations from happening again 
... we need our leaders to prioritize people over politics
