Two Teens Stabbed, One Sexually Assaulted in Chicago's Ravenswood Manor
In a chilling incident that has left residents of Ravenswood Manor shaken, two teenage girls were brutally attacked by two men wielding knives and guns. The 15-year-old victims, who were walking home alone on Friday night, found themselves being stalked by the pair until they were chased down and apprehended in the 2900 block of West Wilson Avenue.
According to police, one of the girls was held at knife point while her friend was dragged into an alley, where she was subjected to a violent sexual assault. The assailants, described as two men in their mid-to-late twenties, made off with one of the girls before disappearing into the night.
Despite a massive manhunt and surveillance footage being released by police, no arrests have been made yet. The girls' ages were initially withheld from public view but were confirmed to be 15 years old on Monday. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
