. So, these new shows and movies on Netflix, Hulu, etc., are all pretty cool. I mean, who wouldn't want to watch Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman as a couple? They're so good in "Roses" 
. But, for real, "The American Revolution" is kinda like "Boardwalk Empire" - all that historical drama can be a bit much 
. And I'm not really sure about "Train Dreams", it sounds like just another boring period drama 
. On the other hand, Ted Danson in "A Man on the Inside" is hilarious!

my heart was breaking for joel edgerton's character tho he's gotta make that life for his fam no pressure right? 
ken burns is a genius how he uses reenactors to tell history is just pure magic 
they're literally so cute together but also kinda creepy? writer's block is real tho 
! As a student, I'm always looking for new TV shows and movies to watch during my free time. And honestly, this list has some really interesting ones! I've been meaning to check out "Roses" with Benedict Cumberbatch - the fact that it's a dark comedy with a twist at the end sounds so intriguing 
. And, I love how they're using reenactors in "The American Revolution" - it sounds so cool!

it's so good!!! i mean i was sipping on a latte and suddenly this idea struck me what if we had a global cafe tour where people share their fave hidden gems from around the world? just thinking about it is giving me travel vibes lol anyway back to these new shows & movies... i've seen "Train Dreams" and it's so beautifully shot 
. and I've been meaning to check out "Train Dreams" - historical dramas are my jam, especially when they explore the changing world 
but what really caught my eye was "The American Revolution", I've always been fascinated by that time period in history and this approach sounds like it could be really unique 
. and finally, "The Beast in Me" sounds like a thrilling crime thriller - Claire Danes is always great as the lead

No need for some fancy directorial approach or historical reenactments trying to make us feel something. "Roses" is basically just a fun rom-com with two rich people being annoying on purpose... give me the original '89 film any day! 
had some mixed feelings about the 2nd half tho, feel like they took away some of the magic. but overall not bad. on another note I've been meaning to check out "A Man on the Inside" heard great things about Ted Danson's character
