If You Binged It: These 5 Must-Watch Shows and Movies Are Streaming Now

In the realm of streaming services, a new batch of must-watch shows and movies has emerged. Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney+, and more are now hosting an eclectic mix of critically acclaimed series and blockbuster films.

First up is "Roses," a dark comedy that brings together Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman as two warring couple who can't stop loving each other. Director Jay Roach tackles the 1989 film of the same name starring Kathleen Turner, Michael Douglas, and Danny DeVito from a fresh perspective, exploring the happier times between the couple. With this approach, the second half of the film takes a darker turn, making it almost impossible to watch.

On another note is "Train Dreams," a historical drama directed by Tom Marshall that follows a laborer (Joel Edgerton) in the early 20th century who spends long stretches working on a railroad across America. Set a century before our present day, this story grapples with the rapidly changing world, trying to make a good life for his wife and daughter.

The television series "A Man on the Inside" Season 2 is also worth watching, starring Ted Danson as retired professor turned private investigator Charles Nieuwendyk. This time around, he reteams with creator Mike Schur, this time investigating a college president who's being blackmailed by a free-spirited music teacher.

Another series is "The American Revolution," directed by Ken Burns and Sarah Botstein, which delves into America’s most pivotal period in history using reenactors to aid his historical retelling. This approach has garnered praise from critics for its unique approach.

Lastly, the Netflix crime thriller "The Beast in Me" features Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys as a famous author and wealthy real estate magnate, respectively. With the author struggling with writers’ block, she is convinced that her neighbor, Nile Jarvis, could be the cure for her problems – until those plans go awry.

These are just a few of the exciting shows and movies streaming now on various platforms. Whether you're into dark comedies, historical dramas, or crime thrillers, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Ugh, why do they have to ruin classic films like that? I mean, "Roses" is already a great film, no need to mess with it. And now it's this... alternate version with a darker tone? That sounds so depressing 😐. I'll stick with the original, thanks. And what's up with these streaming services and their new ways of doing things? Can't they just leave good stuff alone? 🙄

OMG, I'm still reeling from that 2013 movie "Gravity" 🚀🌌, but I guess it's been a while since then 😂. So, these new shows and movies on Netflix, Hulu, etc., are all pretty cool. I mean, who wouldn't want to watch Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman as a couple? They're so good in "Roses" 🌹👫. But, for real, "The American Revolution" is kinda like "Boardwalk Empire" - all that historical drama can be a bit much 😴. And I'm not really sure about "Train Dreams", it sounds like just another boring period drama 🚂. On the other hand, Ted Danson in "A Man on the Inside" is hilarious! 👍

Ugh, another bunch of overhyped shows and movies trying to suck our eyeballs dry 🙄. I mean, who thought it was a good idea to remake a 35-year-old film with the same premise but in a different direction? Just because the original didn't work doesn't mean this new take will be better. And what's up with these platforms thinking we'll just gobble up anything they serve us? A century ago, people had real stories and problems, not just fancy special effects and reenactments 🎥.

omg u guys i just binge watched like 2 whole days worth of netflix stuff i'm talking roses this show is soooo weird it starts off happy and light but then gets super dark and twisted lol benedict cumberbatch and olivia colman are just meant to be together it's like they were made for each other 😂🤣

and train dreams i loved this one too it's so beautiful the way it shows america in the early 20th century is just stunning 🌄 my heart was breaking for joel edgerton's character tho he's gotta make that life for his fam no pressure right? 😉

i also finished watching a man on the inside season 2 ted danson is literally the best 😂 charles niuwendyk is soooo charming and funny but also super smart lol i need to meet this guy in real life

and have u seen the american revolution docu series?? it's like totally blowing my mind 🤯 ken burns is a genius how he uses reenactors to tell history is just pure magic ✨

finally i'm watching the beast in me with claire danes and matthew rhys 🐺 they're literally so cute together but also kinda creepy? writer's block is real tho 💔

OMG, I'm so excited about these new releases 🤩! As a student, I'm always looking for new TV shows and movies to watch during my free time. And honestly, this list has some really interesting ones! I've been meaning to check out "Roses" with Benedict Cumberbatch - the fact that it's a dark comedy with a twist at the end sounds so intriguing 😂.

But, tbh, I'm more of a drama person, and "Train Dreams" seems like something my history teacher would watch 📚. And, I love how they're using reenactors in "The American Revolution" - it sounds so cool! 👏

I also noticed that there are some awesome crime thrillers on the list, especially "The Beast in Me" with Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys 😮. My friends and I would totally binge-watch those together during our next study group break 📊.

Overall, this list is giving me so many new ideas for my next Netflix marathon 📺!

I'm so glad I know about these new shows & movies 🤩! But seriously, some of these titles are totally misspelled 😂 - it's Binged (not "Bingged"), and what's up with the formatting? It looks like a laundry list instead of a proper article. I'm just waiting for a good edit to really bring out the highlights of each show 📺. By the way, have you seen any of these yet?

omg have you tried that new iced coffee shop downtown 🍵 it's so good!!! i mean i was sipping on a latte and suddenly this idea struck me what if we had a global cafe tour where people share their fave hidden gems from around the world? just thinking about it is giving me travel vibes lol anyway back to these new shows & movies... i've seen "Train Dreams" and it's so beautifully shot 🌄 joel edgerton's performance is amazing 👏

omg I'm so down for some new binge-worthy content 🤩! but seriously, have you seen any of these? "Roses" sounds like it could be super dramatic and intense, love that they're tackling the original 1989 film from a different perspective 🍊. and I've been meaning to check out "Train Dreams" - historical dramas are my jam, especially when they explore the changing world 🚂. I also just started watching "A Man on the Inside" Season 2 with Ted Danson, he's so good as the private investigator! 👮‍♂️ but what really caught my eye was "The American Revolution", I've always been fascinated by that time period in history and this approach sounds like it could be really unique 🎭. and finally, "The Beast in Me" sounds like a thrilling crime thriller - Claire Danes is always great as the lead 🕵️‍♀️. anyone else watch any of these yet?

Umm yeah... so apparently we're all just one big happy family again, where dark comedies are like a warm hug, but also kinda traumatic 🤣. I mean, who doesn't love watching a couple that can't stop loving each other, while simultaneously destroying themselves? And don't even get me started on the historical dramas... because nothing says "entertaining" like reenactors and dry monologues about America's history 🙄. But hey, at least we've got some good crime thrillers to pass the time, right? "The Beast in Me" is definitely not a formulaic TV show at all 😒.

I'm so over the hype around these new shows and movies... Like, I get it, they're all critically acclaimed and stuff, but can't we just watch them because we like them? 🤔 No need for some fancy directorial approach or historical reenactments trying to make us feel something. "Roses" is basically just a fun rom-com with two rich people being annoying on purpose... give me the original '89 film any day! 😒 And don't even get me started on "Train Dreams", like, I'm not saying it's boring or anything (okay, maybe that too), but can't we just stick to a good old-fashioned movie plot instead of trying to shoehorn in some 20th-century drama? 🚂💤

just watched "Roses" it was like watching a train wreck can't look away lol 🚂😱 had some mixed feelings about the 2nd half tho, feel like they took away some of the magic. but overall not bad. on another note I've been meaning to check out "A Man on the Inside" heard great things about Ted Danson's character 👍
