I'm not surprised when I see things like this happen . Social media can be such a cruel place, especially for businesses trying to just do what they love (like running a bakery ). It's heartbreaking that Shaun Du felt the need to ask people to stop making negative comments about her workplace. But at the same time, it's amazing to see how supportive and loving their customers were . I think what really gets me is that these platforms are designed to get our attention, but sometimes they just amplify the negativity instead of focusing on kindness and understanding . It's like, let's take a step back and remember that we're all human beings here!
omg i cant even imagine how tough it must be for shanu and her colleagues @ montmorency bakehouse dealing with all that negativity on tiktok like u can see how supportive their customers r tho its so great 2 c people coming together 4 each other but idk how platforms can do better 2 prioritize content over engagement thats just gonna keep amplifying the hate
