just hope this nasal vaccine gets to humans soon & saves some lives, 200 ppl still dyin daily in US Ugh I'm so glad they're working on this nasal vaccine! My kid has had a few close calls with Covid and it's been super stressful as a parent. I just want to know we can keep them safe 
. The idea of delivering the vaccine directly to the mucosal tissues in the nose and throat is so genius - makes sense that it would be more effective against respiratory infections like this. Fingers crossed they can get it tested quickly and make it available to people ASAP

especially since it's targeting the upper airways which is where covid-19 usually enters our bodies. if it can provide sterilizing immunity then we might be able to avoid those nasty respiratory issues. plus, it's a more targeted approach than older vaccines so i'm intrigued to see how it plays out in human trials

We're talking about a live virus, and even if its weakened, it can still cause problems. What if the US or other countries start using this vaccine without proper testing? 
Like, what if people with compromised immune systems get seriously sick from it? 
I know researchers are working hard to make sure this vaccine is safe, but we need to be patient and wait for more data before we all jump on the bandwagon. We also need to keep an eye out for those new variants of Covid-19, 'cause we can't afford to get complacent. 
this nasal vaccine sounds like a game changer, I'm low-key excited about the possibility of finally getting some real protection against covid 
. I mean, we've had this thing in our lives for so long now, it's time for something that can actually take us back from the brink. The fact that it's targeting the upper airways is genius 
- no more getting infected before even realizing you're sick! Of course, we need to keep an eye on things and make sure it's safe for everyone, especially the elderly and those with compromised immune systems . But if it works out, this could be a whole new ball game
