A sad day for Labour and Andy Burnham | Brief letters

I'm seeing a lot of angry parents on social media right now and I think this is exactly what we need more of - constructive conversation. As a parent, it's exhausting trying to navigate all these party politics and power struggles. Can't we just focus on our kids for once? 🤯

I mean, let's be real, if Labour can't even agree on leadership, how are they going to sort out our education system or fix our healthcare? It's like, I get it, politics is messy, but this is what we're paying taxes for! My kid deserves better than to have their future dictated by a bunch of grown-ups who can't even work together.

And another thing, if Michael Carrick is considered a viable candidate, maybe Labour should focus on attracting people from the sports world. At least they're used to being under pressure! 😂

🤕 u gotta feel bad 4 Andy Burnham fam, seems like he got caught in the middle of all this party drama... can't say i blame him tho, leadership roles r never easy 🤯 anyway, think its pretty telling how some ppl r already talkin bout leavin the party cuz they dont wanna be associated w/ this infighting 💔 it's a shame, cuz Burnham was always about servin the people, not just himself... maybe its time 4 a fresh face tho? 😐

omg i'm literally shaking my head over this labour thing 🤯 burnham is like a legend in manchester and his loyalty to the party should be commended, not made an example of 😔 it feels like they're being super petty about it & i'm worried about all the good people who will leave because of this 💔 let's just focus on what matters, you know? 🌈
