I'm loving Paul Dano's range right now ! He's got this incredible ability to bring characters to life, from the vulnerable Eli Sunday to the iconic Brian Wilson. I think what sets him apart is his willingness to take on roles that might be perceived as a bit awkward or uncomfortable – and he always manages to make them feel so real . Like, who else could make playing a preacher in 'There Will Be Blood' work so well?
omg paul dano is literally the master of making us feel all sorts of emotions thru his characters i mean have u seen him as eli sunday in "there will be blood"?? that scene w/ daniel day-lewis is straight up intense and then there's his portrayal of brian wilson in "love & mercy"... he's got this whole vulnerability thing down pat
