'A Team' of real estate brokers faces sex crimes trial in New York

🌆 this case is just mind boggling... i mean we all know about the dark side of power but to think that some rich and influential guys are preying on vulnerable women like they're easy targets 🚫 it's disgusting. the fact that they used their wealth and influence to coerce women into situations that left them traumatized is just appalling.

i'm not surprised that the defense team is trying to portray the victims as willing participants, though... it's a tactic we've seen before, where the accused tries to shift the blame onto the victim. but let's be real, folks, this is a case of exploitation and abuse of power, plain and simple. the prosecution needs to prove that these guys acted with apparent impunity, and i'm not convinced that they'll succeed in downplaying the severity of their crimes.

anyway... it's going to be interesting to see how this trial unfolds. will we get the truth? or will we just get more twists and turns? only time will tell 🕰️

OMG u guys I cant even right now lol its so messed up they were literally living this double life as these successful real estate moguls but behind closed doors they're preying on women who are already vulnerable enough what even is the extent of their crimes idk but 20+ years is a lot of time to exploit someone like that

I mean I feel bad for the victims obviously no one deserves to go through this but its crazy how these people thought they were above the law just cuz they had money and influence I mean newsflash if u r gonna do something wrong in life ur still gonna get caught eventually

and omg the defense trying to turn the victims into willing participants like what even is that strategy idk but its just so frustrating when ppl try to minimize the severity of crimes like this

anyway gotta go scroll thru my feeds rn

I mean can you even believe this is happening? These rich guys were living it up in the Hamptons while they were literally drugging and exploiting women like they were nothing. It's sickening 😷. The fact that they're trying to spin the victims as "willing participants" is just laughable. Newsflash: being drunk and helpless doesn't make you a willing participant in some kind of twisted game. And what really gets me is that it took a team of real estate moguls who were basically running around with a badge of honor for their bank accounts to get caught. It's like, hello, your privilege is not a shield! 👮‍♂️
