A week in France - Marseille mourns one of its own during a silent march for Medhi Kessaci

🤕 just heard about Mehdi's tragic death in Marseille 😢 it's heartbreaking to think about his young life being cut short by gang violence 🚫 authorities need to step up their game & do more to protect activists like Amine 💪 instead of just increasing security, they should be working on the root causes of this problem 🌱 more support for at-risk youth & communities would go a long way in preventing these tragedies 🤝

🌎🕊️ The senselessness of Mehdi's death is heartbreaking, a stark reminder of the risks activists face when fighting for change 💔. France needs to find ways to better support its anti-crime warriors like Amine, beyond just empty promises 🤷‍♂️. Increased protection measures are necessary, but it's also time to address the systemic issues driving gang violence in cities like Marseille 🔗. The French government must work with communities to develop more effective solutions that tackle organized crime head-on 💪. We can't keep waiting for tragedy after tragedy ⏰. It's time for real change 🔄.

man, this is so heartbreaking... mehdi's family is just trying to do their part to make a difference but they got caught in the crossfire 🤕. it's crazy how france can't seem to get rid of these gangs for real. i mean, we all know they're a problem, but it feels like nothing ever gets done about it... authorities are always talking about taking action but it's just not happening fast enough 💔. and amine being in hiding? that's just ridiculous... shouldn't he be able to do his job without having to live in fear 🤥. france needs to step up their game and start tackling this issue head-on, not just throwing a few bandsaid solutions together 💪.

I'm really worried about Mehdi's death, it's senseless 🤕. His family is already speaking out about the dangers of anti-crime activism, but I think they're just scratching the surface. What can be done to keep people like Amine safe? The fact that his brother had to go into hiding is crazy 😱. And what's with all these security measures being implemented? Are they just for show or do they actually make a difference? It feels like France is trying to put a bandaid on a much deeper wound. We need real solutions, not just empty promises 🤔.
