ADHD care needs better regulation and fewer pills | Letters

I think the NHS is already doing enough, tbh 🙄. It's just not used to handling complex issues like ADHD properly, you know? All this fuss about regulation is just creating more problems for them. They're trying to fix the system, but in reality, we should be questioning why it needs fixing in the first place 🤔. And meds are fine, they work for some people, right? It's not like they're the only solution... I'm actually kinda worried that if we over-regulate everything, we'll end up with a system that's even less effective than the one we have now 🚫.

This is getting crazy 💥 the UK is having some major issues with ADHD care and it's not just about the money 🤑, it's about the lack of proper regulation and over-reliance on meds 💊. I mean come on, it's like a Wild West situation out there 🤠, unregulated clinics operating under NHS contracts? That's just a recipe for disaster 🚨. And don't even get me started on healthcare pros not being registered with the CQC 🙄, that's just red flag waving all over the place 🔴. We need to overhaul this system ASAP ⏱️ and make sure patients are getting the comprehensive care they deserve 💖. Non-pharmacological treatment options can't be ignored, fam! 🚫

🤔 this is crazy! how can clinics operate without proper reguilation? it's like they're playing doctor without a license 🚨. i mean, dr cleak went through all that hassle just to get her own practice registered... what about patients who can't navigate all that red tape themselves? and meds over behavioural interventions is just not right 🌎 we need to find more holistic solutions. the nhs needs to step up its game here 👊
