'Adjustments must be made': how to live well after mid-life

Just read about this book "Digital Culture" by Frank Tallis ๐Ÿ“š. I think it's so true what he says about us being distracted from our inner selves with all the external stuff. We're always connected to our phones, social media, etc. and forget to listen to that little voice inside ๐Ÿ˜Š. I've been trying to do more meditation and yoga, just to be present in the moment you know? ๐Ÿ™

I'm loving this ๐ŸŒˆ concept of "Digital Culture" by Frank Tallis! It totally resonates with me, you know? In today's world, it's easy to get caught up in the online noise and forget about our inner selves ๐Ÿ˜ด. We're always connected to our devices, but are we really connected to ourselves? ๐Ÿค” I think this book is a super timely reminder to slow down, tune in, and listen to that little voice inside our heads ๐Ÿ’ญ. Individuation is such an important concept - it's all about finding balance between our conscious and unconscious selves. And I love how Tallis encourages readers to be present in the moment and make space for spirituality ๐ŸŒž. It's like, we don't have to be experts on everything; just being kind to ourselves and taking care of that inner world is enough ๐Ÿ’–.

Wow ๐Ÿคฏ! I think this book is all about us needing to reconnect with ourselves and not just follow what others want us to do. Like, we're so busy checking our phones and watching social media that we forget how to feel things deeply. Interesting ๐Ÿ˜Š!

I'm thinking that this book is like, totally about finding inner peace in our crazy digital world ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ’ป... we're so connected to screens and stuff, it's easy to lose touch with ourselves, you know? I mean, Tallis says we need to tune back into our feelings and intuitions, rather than just going along with what everyone else is thinking. That makes total sense to me - I've felt so much more centered when I'm not constantly checking my phone ๐Ÿ˜…. And the idea of individuation is really interesting too... like, how can we integrate all these different parts of ourselves and find a sense of balance? It's not like one size fits all, right? We're all unique snowflakes (no offense to any snowflake out there ๐Ÿ˜‰). Anyways, I think this book could be super helpful for anyone looking to make some positive changes in their life...

I'm feeling really down on my own productivity lately ๐Ÿค”. Tallis's ideas about our "outward-looking superficial culture" are totally resonating with me. I mean, have you ever noticed how everyone's always talking about the latest trends or social media updates, but we're all forgetting to listen to that little voice inside our heads? ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ

I love the concept of individuation and integrating our conscious and unconscious selves. It's like, totally making space for those quiet moments of intuition and creativity ๐Ÿ’ก. I've been trying to do more art and music in my free time, just to tap into that inner self. And you know what? It feels way more fulfilling than scrolling through feeds all day ๐Ÿ˜ด.

Tallis's advice to try new things and be flexible is also a big one for me. Sometimes I feel like I'm stuck in a rut, but then I take a risk and try something new, and it's like a weight lifts off my shoulders ๐ŸŒˆ. Anyways, this book sounds like a must-read for anyone feeling lost or disconnected from themselves...
