After Vision Zero record in 2025, new year begins with 2 pedestrians killed in traffic

Ugh, it's just so frustrating when things like this happen! 🤯 I was thinking about our school's campaign to promote road safety last semester and how we managed to get a lot of students involved in creating posters and organizing events. It would be amazing if the city could take a similar approach to engaging with drivers and making them more aware of their responsibilities on the road... like, have they seen those PSA ads where the driver's face is blurred? 😒 That's just weird. Anyway, it's super disheartening to hear that even with all the progress made under Vision Zero, these incidents still happen...

Man... two people lost their lives just like that 🚨💔. It's so sad and senseless. You'd think we're making progress with Vision Zero, but then incidents like this come up and it's like we're back to square one. What's the point of all these initiatives if drivers are just gonna bail on us? 🤷‍♂️ We need to hold them accountable for their actions. It's not just about the numbers, it's about people's lives. We can't just pat ourselves on the back for a 111 reduction when there's still so much work to be done. It's like we're putting band-aids on bullet wounds 🤕. We need to take a step back and reevaluate our approach. Maybe it's time to rethink what "Vision Zero" really means...
